Webhash is live in the Ethereum Security QF round at @Giveth. Most Web3 exploits don’t happen in smart contracts. They happen in compromised frontends. We’re fixing that with: • Immutable deployments (IPFS) • Verifiable content • No silent changes Support 👇

Our behind the scenes contracts just got a major glow-up 💅 using basenames. Handle payments now appear clean and readable on @BaseScanHQ instead of that 0x horror movie. Contracts deserve nice names too.

Identity fragmentation is one of the most underrated friction points in Web3. The real opportunity is in creating interoperability between naming systems, so users can carry their identity seamlessly across contexts without losing recognition or utility. Until then, the “open” web will still feel siloed.

There is an identities situation on Base/Ethereum which I believe is in need of a resolution. There are at least 4 different naming systems currently: - farcaster names (@jake) - base names (jake.base.eth) - ens names (0fjake.eth) - zora names (@jake) The tricky thing about identities is that, well, it’s people’s identities. If they are accustomed to using their farcaster name on the farcaster social network, for example, and you force them to use an ens name in a different farcaster client, you are literally forcing them to change their identity. There is perhaps nothing people are more attached to than their identity. To be clear, no app that i'm aware of is currently doing what I described above. It's just an example intended to illustrate the trickiness of aligning behind a single naming system. But having 3+ popular naming systems also seems unideal and unrealistic. It would be fine if these were all separate social networks, like X vs. Instagram, but they're not. They're largely intending to build upon each other. The current situation for the 3 main apps is as follows: - farcaster (the app) allows for farcaster names or ens names - base (the app) allows for base names, farcaster names, or ens names - zora is just zora names This issue becomes especially important with creator coins, as you probably don't want to have a creator coin attached to your zora name, and another one attached to your farcaster name, your base name, etc. Would be curious to hear people's thoughts.

@0FJAKE @jake Honestly identity is a more complex topic than this These are just usernames or just names Addressing names resolution can be fixed through some aggregator service What’s trickier is the profiles associated with these names Users don’t want to manage a profile for each

What's the best way to do on-chain art NFTs in Ethereum in 2025? SVG or otherwise, I don't mind, whatever looks best.

189 fully onchain websites (and counting), all on @base. Each one viewable via its own wildcard @ensdomains subdomain. Browse them all at okcomputers.club 🧩✨ No hosting, no servers. Just Ethereum.

u thought "web3 geocities" was a just a meme? 🫵😂 now every single OK COMPUTER has its own landing page and dedicated url some recent examples: 1287.okcomputers.eth.limo by @maxslch 2907.okcomputers.eth.limo by @_SVVVG3 2114.okcomputers.eth.limo by @squirtle0x 4551.okcomputers.eth.limo by @squirtle0x 2728.okcomputers.eth.limo by @sartocrates 4551.okcomputers.eth.limo by @abearicaonline own an OK COMPUTER = host a website, forever onchain for eternity, decentralized, permissionless. the token# is the url each page loads pure onchain html, pulled live from @base with every request huge thanks to @stevegachau for setting this all up via @eth_limo!

One of the best showcases for @ensdomains wildcard resolution yet. Every single OK COMPUTER now has its own ENS subdomain — like 4551.okcomputers.eth.limo — that not only resolves to the current owner's address, but also serves a fully onchain webpage when viewed in the browser (thanks to @eth_limo). No servers — just HTML stored entirely onchain, served live from @base with every request. This setup pushes NFTs beyond art or collectibles — each OK COMPUTER is a decentralized, permanent website you own. Massive props to @dailofrog for making “Web3 Geocities” real — and for letting me help wire up the ENS wildcard resolution for both ownership and pages. Was a blast. 🔥
