@repkord @Bryan_Vines @3DGloop Well, I was just wondering cause this started happening a couple weeks ago. Have had my HatchBox White PLA loaded up for whenever the mood struck me to print and just noticed the couple times it broke.

@Bryan_Vines @steveken @3DGloop As I understand it its not necessarily moisture at the time of failure but the result of polymer chains breaking down enough which CAN be a result of moisture issues. I imagine it can also do with a number of other factors, and for that I will leave @3DGloop to science your face.

@Bryan_Vines Just wondering, what does it mean if my filament just snaps and breaks if it is just sitting there in the head waiting to be used? Too much moisture in the filament?

The temp is currently 6F (-14C) and getting to -4F (-20C) here tonight, so turned on the extra heat, and now everything has that burnt dust smell :(

@RockstarGames_2 Actually, turned out to be angio sarcoma. And no not ok. Incurable. Only manageable pain wise. Not sure how much longer I have left, but we’re still doing everything we can to fight this crap. Hoping to slow it significantly to allow for more time. Devastated to say the least.
