@cafedujord Why not focus on getting Surfliner from SLO to SJC ? The rail corridor is there but need station infrastructure in King City, Soledad,Castroville, Wastonville. Add a rail extension Santa Cruz to Watsonville and voila !!!

Santa Cruz is one the most beautiful places in California, with one of the most temperate climates in the state.
In a sane world, it would have a high speed rail connection to silicon valley and hundreds of thousands of residents. Instead, its population is declining.

Santa Clara just released a public record to me from June 2025 where they describe Apple's stupid secret chip fab as "high hazard" with "not favorable" "plume models" that is zoned "industrial for a reason"; & residential cannot be within 500 ft & it must be disclosed in the EIR.

I went to Santa Clara Square, Apple's chip fab, & Saratoga/San Tomas Creek this morning to observe, enjoy the nature trails, & gather evidence. Apple's Motion to Dismiss also complained I had been on the East Coast & hadn't been to the parks or WF for years. That's now resolved.

Gorgeous view of the sunset tonight over the San Francisco Bay from Santa Clara near the Wildlife Refuge. This is where a lot of polluted Silicon Valley stormwater discharge ends up & then flows to the Pacific Ocean. Protect the Bay - its a treasure. 💙 🌊

SF Bay this evening at Alviso Marina county park & the National Wildlife Refuge. This part of the Bay is known as "Pond A8" & its the outflow destination for all the chemicals, metals, & other pollution that lands in storm drains upstream (including from Apple's skunkworks fab).
