I am nailing Nine Theses to the door of @Wikipedia. This has been my project for the last nine months. There has never been a thoroughgoing Wikipedia reform proposal—this is the first. If it doesn't work, we need to organize an alternative. 🧵

I would remind you: "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required." (Lk. 12:48) "My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation." (Jas. 3:1) "For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them." (2 Pet. 2:21) "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance." (Heb. 6:4–6)

@GaryFos93321271 To describe Analogia Fidei—the ancient tradition of scriptural interpretation, which finds perfectly rational, coherent ways of showing the text to be consistent—as "wild thrashing about" is a truly remarkable commentary on your training.

Inerrancy is a modern phenomenon in the same way that cognitivism is a modern phenomenon. Ethicists started calling themselves "cognitivists" only because some philosophers started cleverly advocating for non-cognitivism, thinking that normative statements were mere expressions of emotion. It's not unlike transgender theorists calling 99.9% of humanity "cis." LOL. The *only* reason inerrancy can be called "modern" is that prideful modern heretics have abandoned Analogia Fidei and taken it upon themselves to stand in judgment of the text—even at seminaries—something that very few would have done before the Enlightenment. Yes, it was fairly normal to give allegorical readings (e.g., Philo and Augustine), but they were not given to defend Scripture against objections. Anyway, I stand by what I've written so far: the harmony of the two stories of the death of Judas is (a) perfectly traditional and unremarkable and (b) shown to be quite *coherent* by my synthetic harmony, above. Note that I neither left anything out nor added anything. I simply present the words in an order that more obviously shows how they are consistent. Simply claiming that the Judas stories demonstrate that "There is in fact no harmonization possible" is more or less just to align yourself against orthodox Christianity.

@lsanger One of my early classes in my studies to become a Minister was the Harmony of the Gospels in a SBC College. There is in fact no harmonization possible for several aspects of the Jesus story. I did the Seminary thing and Was ordained. Inerrancy is a modern phenomena and wrong

@lsanger So, cultural Marxism is when Marxists write books that some academics read? How could this possibly reshape the world if not via some grand conspiracy?

Wikipedia calls cultural Marxism a "conspiracy theory," but it is simply a fair name for what the Frankfurt School successfully pushed. We are living in the world they made—and it's time to dismantle it.
Yuri Bezmenov's Ghost@Ne_pas_couvrir

In 2011, Breitbart breaks down how Frankfurt School Marxists like Adorno, Marcuse, & Horkheimer escaped Germany for 1940s Golden Age California -only to hate the endless cheer, productivity, and capitalism. They devised cultural Marxism to subvert the US.

@FryMeFalafel @RobbyBinCA No—actually, civilization *requires* a self-understanding at the level of principles. Without it, our lawyers, lawmakers, and teachers become philosophical ignoramuses and are left at the mercy of those who have bothered to learn these things.

@RobbyBinCA @lsanger The problem is the universities do good work researching treatments for all sorts of diseases. The right thing to do would be to decimate the humanities but keep the good stuff going.

@TheRealStranded @DoItForMaMa 🤔📷These Marxists come here thinking they're smarter than you because they read some book, or a few articles for a few courses. They're morons, really. Simply never learned the fundamental principles of civilization.

@walterkirn But Walter, your premise is overstated. It's true that they do get simple things wrong sometimes, but they are damned useful *because* they get things right much of the time. The degree to which Claude gets code right is nothing short of astonishing, at this point.

How is it that the LLMs get things wrong constantly, the very simplest things, and make stuff up pretty much nonstop, yet they are said to be hurtling unstoppably toward god-like power -- if they haven't secretly achieved it already? Is this a con job?

@vcarrotv @shaunmmaguire So—understand that they aren't in your head and probably don't think the way you do. You have to explain things and not leap around from here to there, as our minds not infrequently do.

@shaunmmaguire @lsanger If @shaunmmaguire says 🎯, run like hell. In any event, most thoughtful maga are turning away. It's only the self interested tech and finance bros who are still committed to the irrationality and irresponsibility of the maga cult.

I made a free-verse rap song using a compilation of Angel Studio's Rotten Tomatoes reviews for Animal Farm. Thanks to Disparu for using this as an opener on his latest video.

@shaunmmaguire @lsanger If Marxism does exist I am not being presumptuous just trying to get the point for my self (mild reply guy here) but there would be no successful version of it as to why it is seen as a conspiracy and support no thery only counter arguments for it to have existed it be
