@lsanger @Tu9839963468194 @Jonathan_Blow How do you properly call someone a conspiracy theorist? Perhaps it seems stupid to you but I really don't see the problem. Presumably you wouldn't object to a flat earther being spoken of in the same style?

What are some of the most biased articles on Wikipedia? Where are they most one-sided, even in the titles? Go!

I'm so sick of the soapboxers on this site I truly don't know how they're not sick of themselves.

@realsnozilla Getting people to respond is going to increase the likelihood of their seeing your stuff going in the future so this is not really the best test. But then who cares?

@lsanger @Tu9839963468194 @Jonathan_Blow Bias is distortion from truth. Eg, if I say Andy Anderson is a murderer who killed one person, that's biased against him if he's not a murderer, unbiased if he's a murderer, and biased towards him if he's a mass murderer.

@AndrewGold_ok @mwilliamsthomas Most Americans have no clue at all that this absolute monster was rubbing elbows with the royals. Puts a whole new color on the inaction in response to Rotherham and the child rape gangs, doesn’t it?

If we see human beings as meaningless, we will build systems- that treat them as worthless. BUT If we see human beings as made in the image of God- we will build monuments and nations that reflect their sacred worth. www. grandlibertyarch.com

@tpfsl @Steve_Sailer Well—yes. Most articles are likely to be less one-sided before 2012 or even more so before 2006.

"My question today is a personal one," a student said. "I am going through a really hard breakup, and I was broken up with someone I thought I would genuinely marry. My question is how to move on and grow from this and also how to be a loving disciple of God through this?" First, I always see it as a huge success in a class when a student breaks into deeper, more personal questions. It takes a while, but it's a sign the content is getting through. How would you answer her question? She's a college student. Here's how I answered: Your question is such a important one. This is a really, really hard time. It's crushing and emptying and so much more, tearing apart and making one feel lost while also having to continue on with the rest of life's responsibilities. So what follows isn't minimizing any of that, just a few thoughts as you gather your self together (and it takes time!) Don't think of moving on yet. You can mourn the loss and mourn your plans and goals and the rest. Pray for God's peace in the midst of it and God's presence. Give yourself grace in the mourning and do what you need to do, but also give yourself space and time as you can. Know that God loves you and that your meaning and identity were never in this relationship but deeper and bigger than that. You are more than this relationship and more than the future that you thought was going to take place. Mourn for now but also see ahead as now creating new opportunities and possibilities. Share your time and space with others that you weren't able to before, friends, family, those who you can help in some ways. Feel the love of God and share this love as you feel your strength and energy returning. Breakups are always hard, a kind of little death really, but they aren't defining for you or your future. There is life and hope and possibilities ahead that will surprise you. Know that God loves you. God hasn't broken up with you. God sustains you and has a calling for your life in all the ways that you want filled.
