@1ryanhilton @RichSCawley That’s the biggest worry for me. I know he’s looking for combinations and a selection that works but I’m not sure you find it with the amount of changes he’s making from game to game and how the team can build any cohesion.

@RichSCawley You sound as confused as 99.99999% of the fan base Rich. There’s no consistency. I make that 4 or 5 changes from Millwall, there seems to be at least 3 changes a game.

@ValleyFloydFred I read enough in the My Only Desire piece on Charlie Methven to realise he is an astute business person with integrity. No doubt he played a big part in where the club is now. If folk wish to believe the rhetoric in a Netflix documentary from years ago not a lot you can do.

@ValleyFloydFred He’s been great. Commands his box well, great at dealing with crosses and is a good shot stopper. Yes, he has a very good defence in front of him but to not give him the opportunity would be ludicrous.

Unpopular opinion but I don’t think either AMB or Mannion are good enough for the Championship as number 1 keepers.

@KDSouthLDN Completely agree with this. He’s added a bit of steel to his game this season too. Up there for player of the season for me too. Very much the heartbeat of the team, along with Lloyd Jones.

His work goes unnoticed because he don't jump into tackles, he's a very smart player, hardly ever gives the ball away, keeps us ticking over. Been really impressed this season with Coventry, up there for player of the season. #cafc

@ParodyCharlton In fairness this summer we did spend the second most in league one so he has been backed. Unfortunately it’s evidently clear the squad is still lacking quality and needs a window or two more to finally be able to compete in the mix for the play offs. Right now we’re miles off.

When Jones was appointed, the club were 3 points outside the drop zone with teams below having games in hand. #cafc were 14 games without a win. After a 14 game unbeaten run, Charlton finished 9 points clear. We are just 6 playing months & 1 transfer window into this project.

@LewisStubbs1302 @ParodyCharlton I still don’t think he should be sacked. He should be given the opportunity to correct his mistakes, sign better players, create a midfield that can control a game and find a playing identity.

@LewisStubbs1302 @ParodyCharlton This is the key point that I struggle with. Completely get that we can’t continue to sack managers every 5 minutes but the success rate of those signed in the summer, in a top 4 budget, is not great and the replacements for Dobson and May are nowhere near adequate.
