He. Is. Risen.

Christ is risen! Where are the followers in A.D. 2026 of Judas the Galilean, Theudas, Simon Bar Kochba, Mani, or Apollonius of Tyana? Who still worships Ra, Apollo, Thor, Zeus, Hercules, or Diana? The fact that these at one time influential movements and religions do not have even one follower in the world today is good evidence that all these men stayed dead and these helpless gods and goddesses never existed in the first place. Their movements and religions were indeed "of men" (Acts 5:38). And even the handful of religions that have survived the ancient world, why are their gods or worldviews so impotent that they can’t reach across the borders of their origins? Hinduism has been around for over 3,000 years and yet poor Krishna and Vishnu have barely any followers beyond the borders of India. Additionally, Buddhists haven't captured many hearts beyond the continent of Asia, the Jains and the Sikhs have always remained confined to the borders of India, the Confucianists and Taoists have remained in China, the Shintoists have stayed put in Japan, and we can be certain that Scientologists will remain confined to California. Islam is just an unoriginal heresy of Christianity with only the sword, immigration, and birth rates keeping it alive. Secular humanism is only Christianity lite. That only leaves Judaism and Christianity literally is the fulfillment of all its messianic hopes and dreams. Christianity is really the only World religion, and it is clearly the one True religion. In AD 2026, the Crucified Nazarene rules a spiritual empire which embraces a third of the world. In almost every language this Easter, from every nation on earth, billions are proclaiming: “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” "So the Pharisees said to one another, 'You see that you are not doing any good; look, the world has gone after Him.'" (John 12:19) “Wilt Thou yet take all, Galilean?” Yes, yes He will.

He is Risen! Rejoice! Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!

“He has risen!” “When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?” But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’ ” (Mark 16:1-7)

Chuck was an icon. I am grateful that I was able to work with him in multiple ways over the years, from promoting fitness to sharing the screen together. He was a badass, in real life and in Hollywood. His legend will be with us forever. My thoughts are with his family.
