Spent another great day out on Manitoba farms — one of the best parts of my work. Every visit reminds me how committed, resilient, and hardworking our producers truly are. What you don’t always see in the reports and meetings, though, are the colleagues who greet you at the gate: the farm dogs, barn cats, and curious herd members who wander over to say hello. Those four-legged teammates add something special to the day — a bit of fun, a bit of personality, and a reminder that agriculture is built on connection, trust, and community (human and otherwise). Climbing hills, chasing dreams! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ This weekend’s Hill of Dreams charity event reminded us of the incredible things we can achieve when a community comes together. Every step taken and every dollar raised has a ripple effect, bringing hope and support to those who need it most. It’s proof that when passion meets purpose, we can overcome even the steepest climbs—literally and figuratively. 💙 I personally ran 31 hill laps this weekend.
