How ironic that it was Margaret Thatcher as Sec of State for Education in 1973 that set up the Inquiry that led to the Warnock Report in 78 and Thatchers 79 government that implemented this in the Education Act of 1981 giving parents much greater rights 1/2

I'm taking part in some co pro. I've pointed out at least 2 unlawful things and the LAs secrecy over ASC being able to fund transport. I'm sure they love me, but more to the point, why as parent/carers are we the ones picking up on unlawful policy and not the LA legal/QA teams?!

Dr Jonathan Broad is absolutely right - the current SEND system is too slow, too adversarial, and not working for families. Labour’s reforms are a positive step toward earlier support, stronger mainstream provision, and a more inclusive system that puts children’s needs first.

@SpcialNdsJungle I think the Tribunal is quiet-quitting already. For the second time this year my hearings (separate appeals for different children) have been cancelled the day before. Got this today, despite both parties responding in full and on time, as per the order.
