@JFreshHockey @tjkretz1 I just don’t think they can trade him without getting a center back. I don’t think Fantilli is remotely on table and I don’t think they’d trade monahan or that he could be main piece for Detroit. And I doubt Sillinger moves the needle he’s at best a 3rd liner.

@tjkretz1 it's just tough to envision larkin demanding to leave his hometown team that he's the captain of so he can go to a team that's missed the playoffs in six straight seasons

ultimately i think there will be a middle ground found and Larkin will be traded either in the offseason or early next season to one of Anaheim, Dallas, Minnesota, Utah, Carolina, Washington, or maaaybe CBJ/NJ
