Not only will Dalilah's law permanently eliminate non-domiciled CDLs, it will also restrict foreign dispatchers and freight brokers

@AmYankees @supertrucker I would be interested in seeing those numbers. Unless your customers suddenly increased their rates by at a minimum, 10% in the past week, it is just not possible. Rates have not increased that much versus what they were according to like a dozen social media posts

@steveoatley @supertrucker I have my own authority

@PJLTBD @DoodlesTrks Those are not the companies that will be impacted first. It is the mom and pop companies.

I am guessing you are not a trucker by this comment. Sure, larger companies have a fuel surcharge table they go off of, that will eat up some of the increase, but that is typically for contract freight. Small companies, the ones working off the spot market, do not have this luxury and rates are not up as high as they need to be for a truck to operate. I will explain. Fuel was $5 a gallon at this location. For a truck that gets 8 mph (if they are lucky) thats a cost of .625 for their fuel alone. With average costs to operate being around $2.26 per mile on the low end, add the difference of fuel that bumps the coa to 2.36-2.4 or more. Now look at the national average dry van for the week which are sitting at $2.42 per mile. See the problem there? The national average dryvan rate only includes LOADED miles. The COA for a truck is essentially the same regardless of whether they are loaded. They lose money.

@steveoatley @supertrucker Trucking companies and o/o make a much better profit when fuel prices are high.

@NateTheTBC Yeah I am not sure. I was hoping Jones or something legendary. This is not a legendary card!

@steveoatley I wonder what fight fell off the card last second that people are talking about, but even then I don’t know if it would’ve been saved
