FIREFIGHER NEVER GOT TO MEET HIS 3RD DAUGHTER Roi Moshe, 36, from Ashkelon, was killed by Hamas terrorists on October 7 while trying to return home. Roi, a firefighter, served as deputy team chief in the Beersheba station, and was posthumously granted the rank of first sergeant major, according to the Times of Israel. He had just wrapped up an overnight shift and was headed home when the Hamas attack began. He was ambushed by Hamas terrorists near the Gevim Junction outside Sderot, tried to flee into a nearby field and was murdered. He is buried in Ashkelon on October 10. He is survived by his wife, Linor, their two children, Daniel, 9, and Harel, 7, and their daughter, Gili, who was born in January 2024, three months after her father’s death. 14 BABIES NAMED AFTER SLAIN JEWISH PARAMEDIC 10/7 🎗️ Over 14 children have been named in her honor of Amit Mann, the 22yo Israeli paramedic that was killed on October 7th. So many children were named after her that her mother recently hosted a meet-up for the small children. According to the JewishStandard, recently in February, Amit’s mother and three older sisters hosted a gathering of parents of babies named in memory of this senselessly slaughtered Israeli heroine. One of those 14 babies is Gefen Amit Amminadav of Jerusalem, the six-month-old firstborn of Natania Casden, who grew up in Teaneck, and Gil Amminadav, who made aliyah from Fair Lawn. “It’s always been important to me to raise strong, brave daughters,” Natania said. “When we learned that we were having a girl, we decided to name her Gefen Amit after my grandmother, Gwen Cole, and after Amit Mann." Alvin Brown, a former NTSB board member, has filed a lawsuit alleging he was fired because of his race. According to the lawsuit, as many as 75% of Black officials at independent agencies were removed under Trump. When qualified Black leaders are pushed out under such circumstances, it raises serious questions about fairness, equal protection, and the integrity of our institutions. New to the FDA, she noticed something others had overlooked—or ignored. The data was thin. Reports of nerve damage were buried. The safety claims felt… too clean. While the pharmaceutical company pushed aggressively for approval, sending repeated requests and mounting pressure, Kelsey held her ground. She asked for more studies. Then more. And more. Behind the scenes, the pressure wasn’t subtle. Drug companies expected quick approvals. Delays meant lost profit. For a young female reviewer in a male-dominated system, saying “no” wasn’t just professional resistance—it was personal risk. 🇮🇱🇫🇷 Criminal Frenchman Driver Who Killed Israeli Woman and Fled, assassinated by hitmen in Paris: Éric Robic, who killed the young Israeli Pilates instructor, Lee Zeituni, in a 2011 Tel Aviv hit-and-run and fled the country, was shot dead Thursday morning near Paris. Two gunmen in helmets on a motorised scooter carried out the attack, and French authorities say the motive remains unclear.

Lloyd Gaines applied to the Univ. of Missouri School of Law in 1936. Despite his exceptional scholastic record, his application was denied. Lloyd Gaines filed a lawsuit after being denied admission. The Court ruled in his favor in 1938. The Court did not require Missouri to admit him but they had to set up a separate law school for Black people. Mr. Gaines and the NAACP continued to challenge Missouri’s lack of effort in compliance with the ruling. Three months after the Court ruling, 28-year-old Gaines went missing while living in Chicago and was never seen or heard from again. Without Lloyd Gaines, the NAACP was forced to drop the case.
