Hey EMACS bros… What tips do you have for a Vim user that tried EMACS with evil mode but couldn't get it to stick?

We are thrilled to announce that Spin, our open-source tool, has officially joined the CNCF Sandbox @CloudNativeFdn, along with SpinKube! This marks an exciting new chapter! We can't wait to see what both new and existing contributors will build with Spin: bit.ly/40JQLtq

That said, it took literally minutes to create a REST API, implement global middleware to write to a Redis cache, and then write to a PG DB all managed by Encore. Was very simple & easy to get rolling! Wish I had more time to hack on something, but worth checking out.

I was trying to participate in the @encoredotdev Hackathon by building an analytics app. Requests are stored in a cache, then summarized in a DB via cronjobs for later visualizations. I then clicked on another link in the docs and found an entire section on Observability. 🤯 🙃

I'm really excited to share what we've been working on: @SpinKube and @FermyonTech Platform for #Kubernetes. First up, @SpinKube is an open source project we've built with awesome folks from @Microsoft, @SUSE, @LiquidReply and more, which integrates with a *lot* of the cloud native ecosystem and brings together a complete stack for running #WebAssembly apps in #K8s. Check out the introductory blog post which goes into more details about how this all works: spinkube.dev/blog/2024/03/1…

"Every infrastructure decision I endorse or regret after 4 years at a startup" -- cep.dev/posts/every-in… Best infrastructure post I've read in YEARS; would love to see this become a hot series. Write one about your choices, please!!!

Retweets massively appreciated. Today, I'm excited to announce the waitlist for my first ever course, The Ultimate Guide to Debugging in Go. Debugging is probably the most important skills that you never get taught. It is usually the first thing I teach folks and it's often quoted as the most useful thing they learnt from me. I'm still working hard to get the course finished, but if you want to get access before anyone else and a tasty discount code, you can join the waitlist here: bytesizego.com/the-ultimate-g… #golang

Having a blast digging into @KnativeProject, also fun that @projectcontour is included as a networking option. Will write up a blog post on what I'm working on soon (once I get all the pieces figured out).
