Thick clouds, no light. I was almost ready to pack up and leave. Then a narrow break let through just enough color.

A dramatic scene for a few moments west of Calgary today!
The sky was filled with dark storm clouds, but Moose Mountain was in an island of bright sunshine.
The illumination of the snow blowing off its ridges was particularly striking. #yyc
A few years ago this iceberg made its way along the Avalon Peninsula at quite a speed before settling in Ferryland Newfoundland. This is one of the first shots from that evening. This picture does not do justice to the size of this iceberg.
