@elakdawalla This is a great book. Sedimentary Rocks in the Field, Dorrik A.V Stow. Full of photos and diagrams with loads of practical examples for describing grain size and shape.

Hey geo friends, my library lacks a sedimentology textbook. Can someone recommend a good, well-illustrated, well-indexed, undergrad-level text for me to use for reference when I'm trying to translate scientific papers on fluvial and lacustrine rocks on Mars?

@SalvageCitizen @hi Sorry - missed this. I’m using 1Gbit/s USB and wired Ethernet on one cluster and 2.5Gbit/s onboard Ethernet on the other. USB adapters with VMware Fling work well

@steviestainz @Hi Steve nice cluster. Are you using 2.5G adapters? Or just all 1gb? Also what switches are you using for VLANS?

@lamw Thanks, I just wasn’t sure it I should have filed it as a bug instead of a comment. It’s cool that it’s low priority, just need it for my VCF cluster w/NSX on NUCs :-)

@steviestainz Steve - Best course of action (what you’ve already done) is to leave details on Fling page. Remember, this is a Fling and it is worked on in our “spare" time. I’ve pinged the Engr to see if they have any thoughts and they’ll try to reply when/if they have a chance

@lamw NSX-T N-VDS removed, both NICs are online now. Let’s see how this breaks down over next few days ;-)

New dual Intel I225-LM adapter in Tiger Canyon 11th Gen NUC not playing nicely in ESXi 7.0.2 after completing custom ISO installation. Second adapter loses link light during boot, fine in BIOS. NSX-T 3.1 transport host. Have you seen this before @lamw?

@lamw Thanks William, I was starting to think that using 7.0.2 with the community network driver was the problem. Have removed from NSX-T cluster and will raise an issue if it persists. Cheers

@steviestainz Not heard of anything, I know several customers using the driver w/o issues. Can you isolate problem & try taking NSX-T out of the picture … just to make sure driver/hardware is fine. Maybe run some tests if you believe its load/perf specific File issue on Fling site w/details
