@bdosi72 @AF_Hell How do you know Hollands wasn't CTE? 2 key indicators are cognitive decline and behavioral changes, clearly what was exhibited onfield. Potentially even from untreated (or several) concussions.

@thedose__ Sick. I won't watch it either way. I've seen the movie Failure to Launch - it's the same plot.

just a reminder the afl didn’t give showdown, the sydney derby, boomer’s record breaker, michael tuck’s record breaker, and so on, clear air but a 430pm saturday game against west coast? oh boy, it’s collingwood, you bet we’ll give it! 🙄

Round 11 could look a little different if Scott Pendlebury breaks the AFL games record against West Coast, with the possibility of a fixture change alive. READ 👉 bit.ly/3OJJ8A9

"Unlike the old priority pick model where you knew what you had to do... the AFL won't be releasing this." The AFL is making a new priority pick formula – but will choose to keep it secret, per @CalTwomey 👀 #9FootyClassified | Watch on 9 & 9Now 🖥️

Since the introduction of Jay Clark on #FirstCrack, it's started to become a bit like AFL360. Too much soap opera discussion on potential trades, suspension duration and other media hypotheticals. Stick to the tactical analysis - that's what makes the show special.

@Peter_Fitz Mining is the real winner. Batteries have a 15year design life, so might last to when the oldest Australian Solar farms will also need wholesale replacement. Both lose efficacy over time. But the sun will continue to shine on that infrastructure, even when it ceases to operate.

@stevo_23 @thedose__ He does contradict himself because in other posts he implies the crows are always whinging about nothing but then at the same time says how bad the umpiring and the state of the game is.

@davosmith_93 @thedose__ He said whole stadium, which would include the smaller portion of Port fan base. So it's not a contradiction, if anything, it franks his previous tweets about Dillon.

@bosslevel86 Why didn't he have a 3rd bounce? That was a worse decision than the umpire.

@TsouvalasAFC JHF moved forward in 2nd half after a knock to the back hampered his running. Crows needed that percentage boosting result.

@VardyMagic But agree that umpires were not only terrible, but inconsistent throughout the game both ways. AFL have to make them full time. Can't expect people working part time in their second jobs to be experts.

@VardyMagic Umpires don't like when players that throw their hands in the air. Durden got skin on kick. Rachele would've taken advantage anyway.

THIS ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH. The 4 umpire system hasn't improved the quality of adjudication and has effectively diluted the standard. 'Never been better'! #weflyasone 🇷🇴🤬🇷🇴

Today Harry Sheezel plays his 74th AFL game and 2nd at Kardinia Park. Scott Pendlebury is still to play there. The AFL draw has less integrity than a WWE steel cage match. #aflcatsroos

@hasumpstuffedup This is like many free kicks - not every miniscule infringement needs to be paid. Pay the blatant howlers. For the rest, let the players play.

Has the umpire made A Bad decision?
You are allowed to block on the goalline, but not push or hold. Ump paid a push There's not much contact here, I wouldn't pay it myself but there is a pushing action, so I don't think anyone can say it's wrong I am relieved it didn't decide the game #AFLCrowsPower #showdown59

@SamCroWLOriginl Pushed with the same force Soligo's "goal" would've thundered into the post if it were the distance Rankine ran after the second bounce higher.

Anyone looking at this saying it's a free needs to be honest regarding their hatred of the Crows. Not even close to the back, the Port player takes a step after the "push" and then launches himself to touch the ball.

🇦🇺 Australia’s energy security won’t be solved by drilling more holes. It’ll be solved by needing less of the stuff in the first place. 🌏 Our destination hasn’t changed — but excuses for delay get less and less credible. Check out my comments in @theaustralian today. #CAE2026

@PaulZauch @MitchFinn95 Bergman won't be in mid rotation while Marshall is in the side. Marshall needs to work on 1 v 1. BZT, Esava or Ramm in the side takes the heat off a bit.

I reckon Carr is absolutely the long term answer. The improvement in players like Evans, Jones, Jas and JHF so far this year suggests he can coach. #aflcrowspower #weareportadelaide

@Peter_Fitz That's not true. There are some on the left that want fossil fuels gone immediately so they can live in their utopia. You are correct that power generation that is more reliable than renewables, is essential for industry.

Nup. The more of us who get renewable energy domestically, the stronger we are and the more there is for manufacturing. No-one is saying shut down fossil fuels NOW. We are transitioning, and at a marvelously fast rate, at that. See the Hartcher article. It explains very well.
chodly@chodly155358

@Peter_Fitz I have my panels and ~50kwh of battery but this approach is not working for manufacturing. Works a treat for me domestically. I use a tiny fraction compared to manufacturers. They Are going out of business in Australia, many by energy costs. Net Zero manufacturing well on target.

@Peter_Fitz Hope much more lithium is mined so the price of batteries comes down #offgrid Seems bizarre that the best solution is plonking 200kg of mined metal in or around your house...and it will lose efficiency before most people pay off their homes. Meaning they need to purchase again.

A must read, by Hartcher. The people have led the renewables revolution, and won. Only One Nation and the Coalition don't get it. #Auspol Renewable energy in Australia: The people have voted with their rooftops, but the Coalition is still not on board smh.com.au/politics/feder…
