A lot of CS2 Dev Activity in the past 2 hours, even Dev App1 was updated. What's happening? 🤔

@DahMayans @I_am_jerm If we are talking how they killed interest for major stickers, i agree, but then Paris was 3rd in a row major with borderless stickers anyway

@iamcs2kitchen Okay, I understand that, but why didn’t they wait with the new AnimGraph and release the Armory rotation together with it? That would’ve been the biggest update in CS2 history. Meanwhile, in the background, they could’ve kept working on whatever they’re doing right now

@stfnnnn___ You can have big organisations. You can be bottlenecked by one part of the process where you require an output from a different team before proceeding. Don't take this as their defense. You have the full right to demand things from a game you pay for as a service.

People are upset that they are prioritising fixing the bugs for the major before they release the armoury update? We have come full circle

@iamcs2kitchen IMO, Valve is big enough to have two teams, one working on fixing bugs and another team working on Armory (Operations, missions, etc)

@stfnnnn___ As someone who has experience in such type of meetings, it depends on where the product/research is at but more importantly on the people who are chairing the meeting with decision making rights.

I've been saying this for months now, the script: 1. Get prices down ( Under 2K ) 2. Give improvements to the market ( fees, trading cooldown removal, UI improvement ) 3. Remove trading - funnel everything to the market.

@I_am_jerm They are making milions per year from CS economy. They killed economy in PUBG in 2021. and i dont think its in their interest to kill economy in CS

i REALLY do not understand the sentiment that because valve is updaing the market THAT is the sign they want to remove trading and destroy 3rd parties... someone that already has a more than useable marketplace (steam) would not put a bunch of time/money/resources into upgrading their market if their goal was to take down 3rd parties... they could do that with the old market they already had. Them doing all of this is literally a sign they are trying to COMPETE with those markets and stand out as a place to use while those others still exist

Valve has just released a new design for the Steam Community Market. Now, you can see prices for all CS2 item qualities on one page.

@I_am_jerm The salaries for those two people would probably be less than €2k per month.

@I_am_jerm Its a cool idea, but its not an original one, they copied what Fortnite has been doing with the Battle Pass since 2018. What I don’t get is how a huge company can’t just hire one person to plan the Armory and another to pick the best Workshop items

its so crazy how hard valve has fumbled the armory they had a pretty cool idea (worse than operations but whatever still a decent idea that made sense) reward people for playing the game and they make a fuck ton of money

This pretty much confirms that the accusations of people manipulating the markets downward were TRUE (not shocking) but also hopefully means we will continue to see changes and relief to the markets (buy the dip)

Podrzavam odluku sudije, ali bih voleo da letos sednu sudije i da se dogovore sta ja faul, a sta nije i da dobijemo objasnjenje uz primere, a mislim da primera ima dovoljno

@mikii7878 @ciossa101 Nadji nam jedan gol arsenala gdje je jedan arsenalov igrac drzao rukom golmana a drugi ga vukao za dres kao sto je ova situacija.

Premijer liga je tačno ovo zaslužila, da joj VAR i ovi mapeti direktno odluče prvaka.

Star Farming got nerfed! DM/Arms Race XP is now capped at 300 per game. Basically, hit 375 points and chill (if you want). Because you get 0 XP past this point. Just don't get kicked for AFK 🥶

NEW CS2 Update: Valve reduced the amount of XP in DM ‼️ > Before this update, you could get 800xp per DM > Now it seems to be capped at around 300-375xp. From my tests, a performance that used to give 800 now gives 300xp Update targeting bot farms?
