@lornaslater @AldiUK #2 People being people will, therefore, go shopping here and ignore small retailers who have no room/EH provision for this machine. The setup of this scheme is bitty and ill thoughtout. There are few/no clear guidelines for small retailers. Please sort this out

Reverse vending machines for drinks containers installed and ready to go at @AldiUK in Bathgate! Businesses have made investments and and built infrastructure - we now need the UK Government to issue an exemption to the Internal Market Act for our new launch date in March. ♻️

@lornaslater @AldiUK #1 I appreciate your sentiment, & understand the necessity to reduce the utilisation of raw materials. However, these machines in large retailers requires you enter the store.

Tomorrow's @Sunday_Mail front page: Sim cards linked to burner phones are part of the major police probe into SNP finances. Officers are also looking at the purchase of luxury pens, designer pots and pans and a fridge-freezer. #TomorrowsPapersToday

@osteoconnor Agreed, they've not once mentioned Mo Mowlam's name during the anniversary shennanigans, and she was the linchpin of it all

@SMacGal Lots of blinking stone. Those elongated stones look like door/window lintels? Displaced?

Why have the anti-trans co-opted suffragette colours? I suspect suffragettes will be turning in their gaves as they defied the gendered conventions of their time #tranrights

This makes me so angry. When you're sitting at a desk pushing a pen it's so easy to say get off the golf course. 50yrs+ workers in manual labour jobs would disagree. thetimes.co.uk/article/jeremy…

I have become rather fascinated with the mud buildings of the Cumbrian Solway Plain, known as clay dabbins. In 1910 there were c.1,300 known examples, but no more than 300 exist today.

#DrWho Regeneration very cool. Time for my DrWho story. Me & Paul McGann stop off at a service station with Drew Mullholland. Paul goes for a pee and l look at the magazines. Two truck drivers, one to the other: “That was Dr Who, but he’s that c*nt from Two Men in a Trench!”

@AlexRoseGames @Troglodyte2022 @goulcher @itvnews Nope, not actually the case. Although it depends on what conditions the coffin is placed - in lead lined coffins especially if not breached the body pretty much doesn’t decompose thoroughly. I’m an archaeologist and it’s pretty well documented 😊

@ProfTonyPollard My old supervisor, Don Brothwell, went to Bosnia and he recounted that it was a very distressing experience even though he'd dug in other high profile areas

A shout out to all my archaeological colleagues who will at some point go on to do distressing but essential work in Ukraine.
