BREAKING: Gulf nations have issued $112 billion in bonds year-to-date, the highest amount on record for this point of the year.
Bond sales have more than tripled since 2022.
This comes as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, and Qatar seek financing for infrastructure that bypasses the Strait of Hormuz.
This includes new ports on the Red Sea and the Gulf of Oman, repairing older oil and gas pipelines, and improving road networks across these countries.
Kuwait alone raised $6.0 billion last week, with investor orders reaching $14.8 billion, more than double the amount issued, highlighting resilient demand for the debt of Gulf nations.
Gulf nations are borrowing at a record pace as they rush to reshape their infrastructure.

Here’s what was found
- Over 93% positive for glyphosate
- 100% positive for heavy metals
- 29 different pesticides were found
- Aviary contraceptive in school lunches, meaning it prevents the bird from laying eggs
- Very toxic heavy metals, high levels that are known to cause permanent brain damage
- We found very low nutrients, like abysmal levels of nutrients
“The levels of nutrients were so low that the owner of the lab said there were more toxins than nutrients in this food — The results were horrible”
But it doesn’t end there, all this was also found during additional testing of foods in America
- School lunches contained 6000% more heavy metals than deemed safe
- Fast food burgers contained 1000% more heavy metals than deemed safe
- 100% of Chick-fil-A sandwiches also had this aviary contraceptive
- American fast food burgers contain Butanediol, “We are pretty sure injected into these cows because it makes muscle meat grow — it’s shown on the manufacturer data sheet to cause aggression and combativeness.”
- 93%–100% of samples tested of baby formula, fast food and Girl Scout cookies contained weed killer
- Trader Joe’s gluten-free bagel contain huge amounts of gluten, “20 times higher, 269 parts per million of gluten”

Okay, we have temporary internet! It's not great, but it's a heck of a lot better than the "dial up" fiasco of the last 6 days.
Apparently, a line was accidentally damaged. They're tearing the street up right in front of my house, and they must've hit something. They knocked out the internet for many people and businesses. It's quite a mess, and God only knows when it will be fixed, so we'll have to use this temporary stuff until then, which is better than nothing. We're also asking permission to get Starlink installed. If the apartment owner says no, we can go with Starlink "mini" without permission since it's portable, but that wouldn't be nearly as ideal as the real deal.
Anyway, I am out of the 90s dial up, and somewhere in the 2010's with my internet speeds... onward!

For those of you who are along for the 1995 "dial up" ride. It's day 6 and we still don't have working internet, beyond "crappy dial up" speeds. I have unlimited data on my US cell plan, but I used up all my 5G, so now I am downgraded, and I can't use the hot spot anymore. My Italian cell plan is 4G, and useless for a hotspot. I just sent a pretty firm email to the apartment management team, demanding this be fixed today, no if, ands, or buts about it. As for the Starlink, so many of you have been helpful sending me links to check our address, so thank you for that! Yes, they do service our area, but we still need the app to make sure our view of the sky is clear enough. As you can imagine, downloading that app and actually getting it to work has been a ridiculous challenge. We're still sorting that out. But delivery for the Starlink here in Italy takes 3 weeks. So, it's not a "quick fix" even if we do have the "open sky" to make it work. Yes, we'll still get it, to avoid anything like this happening again, but for now, we're at the mercy of this stupid internet company.

What the actual heck is going on in MA?!?!?! Massachusetts Democrats are advancing a permanent state commission that exists only for people who practice Islam.
Bill S.2134 would create an 11-member Government commission focused solely on the status of American Muslims.
Appointees would come from the governor, attorney general, legislative leaders, and racial equity committee chairs.
The body could accept private donations, hire staff including a paid executive director, hold public meetings, and file annual reports to the governor and legislature recommending policy changes.
No other religion receives this exact permanent structure. Sponsors and advocacy groups frame it as a civil rights measure to address bullying and inclusion.
Critics see a special government body for one faith as a clear break from equal treatment and the principle that the state does not favor any religion.
The bill has already cleared key committees and sits in Ways and Means. If it becomes law it would launch with real authority and access to both public resources and outside money.
A government that creates official commissions for one religion while leaving every other faith without the same standing is not practicing neutrality.
Equal protection under the law means no special status for any belief system. This proposal deserves full public scrutiny before it advances any further
