We built a holiday competition for @PirateNation where players collect presents - designed & launched in 5 days. The team was able to ship this feature quickly because of a single idea: treat mintable loot (tokens) as points on a leaderboard. This simple primitive is powerful: 1/ Players can verify the competition is fair - every point is auditable. Over 50M presents minted, all traceable. Players can analyze strategies in the open 2/ New competitions launch in minutes. For anyone who's built leaderboards before, you know this is huge. Most are hard-coded - we can add events to any app using the same onchain service 3/ Community can build their own UIs/sites since chain data is public — similar to how sports data powers fantasy leagues & fan sites 4/ Onchain data is perfect for AI agents - automated event announcers or AI guides to help optimize play 5/ Seamlessly integrates into all other apps that support tokens -- our designers built most of this through @proofofplay's no-code editor and adding drops to existing loot tables. This shows how Lego-style primitives enable complex and deep onchain apps. And this is just event #1 - wait till you see what's next 🏴☠️

Yesterday @PirateNation players processed 650,000+ transactions in the game. They signed 0 tx popups and paid $0 in gas. For context 650,000 transactions per day is more than @Blast_L2's average daily tx count. 😉 Study fully onchain gaming tbh.
