@_jaydtalker Clubs have a major responsibility in shaping this mindset. Players are not just individuals, they are extensions of the club’s brand. If clubs want players to connect better with fans and carry themselves as performers, then that standard has to be clearly defined and enforced.

@yemiTM442 @DuduOrumen Can their father afford that black and white TV then?

@kinglabi_ Basics, they lack good touch, positioning, movement, rotation, discipline and have no insight about tactics. Tactics is not for coaches only; but for Player's. They think skills is what scouts look for.

Baba you go die this agenda, Éric Chelle is a smart coach. The NPFL players are not built for intense football, they will FOLD, they've always shown it. When he got appointed as Super Eagles coach, he worked with a handful of NPFL players (not even at the CHAN at the time), he worked with Sodiq Alexander-Arnold at the Unity Cup, he worked with Sikiru Alimi too at the Unity Cup, he worked with Papa Daniels too at the Unity Cup. None of them impressed. I could remember Sodiq being overran and licked by some Jamaican kid wingers. Éric Chelle did this to let everybody see that he has done his part, but the players didn't do theirs. He still took a bunch of them to the CHAN AFCON, they were disgraced 4–0 by Sudan, lost 1–0 to Senegal, played like amateurs. Them stain Chelle white agbada. If the intensity and quality of the NPFL does not increase by a mile, 90% of those players will fold if they play for the Super Eagles. Develop the league first, compete and go far in the CAF Champions League first, then we can talk about NPFL players playing for the Super Eagles.

🚨🇳🇬 After playing for Italy U21 yesterday, Honest Ahanor will now need FIFA Clearance if he wants to switch his allegiance to Nigeria in the future.
