The point is that there was value at nine whether or not Delane was still available. OTs were taken at 9 & 10. There are still some question marks with the Chiefs O line. In the meantime, the Chiefs gave up No. 9 overall (1st Round) No. 74 overall (3rd Round) No. 148 overall (5th Round) It will be interesting to see what value is available at pick no. 74.

If you’re not a fan of trading up to get Delane, fine. But if you’re going to say “we could have gotten him at 9” How do you know that? The only way you know that for certain is if you have the board for all 32 teams.

@MarkFeighery1 @zackeisen21 Yes the RB room did improve the OL has got worse but not by much… we still have no depth in OL. I hope the WR is better but I’ll believe it when I see it. New OC doesn’t move the needle and WR coach might help. Fields adds very little outside of depth.

@stl_chiefs @zackeisen21 we've also improve offence with health OL and Walker. Add that the WR group is very likely to improve (young, now healthier, new OC and WR coach etc) I think the offence will be set. Fields adds some things too.

Spags better have a good unit with how many resources they give him. Andy gimmicking that the offense is fine is hilarious though.

@stl_chiefs @zackeisen21 Ya but watch the games. The offence played very slow. And we're not counting poat injury. I don't have the stats but I'm pretty certain the points per drive on both ends skews very differently in offences favor

@MarkFeighery1 @zackeisen21 lol the offense struggled to score more then 20 points last year and the defense held the majority of teams to 20 points or less. The defense had it’s struggles but offense was a complete liability last year.

The offence was fine last year the defence sucked. We lost 3 starters on defence. We're getting O line back, walker and a healthy worthy as well as having a very young WR room that has the right to improve. Also a new OC. As long as Kelce doesn't fall off a cliff the offence should be way better. Drafting defence makes sense

@Ewickkkk You said the entire draft class. GK and Trent both first rounders hard miss on them.. sky was ass. Cook was good for a 3rd rounder which is kind of my point.. that trading away a top 100 pick when we have so many holes to fill was stupid and Pacheco was mid.

@Goof44118308 @Ewickkkk At 9 RB jr or Caleb downs are my top pick available at 9. And just a 3rd and a 5th… Leo Chanel was just a 3rd round pick. Tyreek Hill was just a fifth round pick… the chiefs have limited cap space so they should fill their roster in the draft.
