Our first ‘Celebrating our Successes’ assembly was a great opportunity for each class from K to Gr. 8 + FSL and PE to share 3 things they are proud of. We have much to celebrate in areas of achievement, well-being and faith development. @ldcsb

The first day of Tim Hortons #smilecookie week was SWEET! The rain stopped and the sun came out just in time for us to have a great time at the launch party! Thank you to @CTVLondon for covering it and to the 705 Wellington @TimHortons for hosting the launch at their location!

Special thanks to our Tunes on Tuesday team for providing some great music at lunch this week. Great initiative from this group who suggested we start this up at beginning of the year. #studentvoice @LDCSB

🇨🇦 It is Canada Day and I am grateful to live in a country where we are free and if we put our minds and hearts to it we can come together to make it a more just, safe, caring place for all. The effort never ends.

We began with our first in person Celebrating our Success assembly, with gratitude for staff, students and families, and farewell to some friends. We finished with our traditional final waves to departing buses. Oh yeah… and a water balloon fight too😬. @LDCSB

Thanks to Mr. Tezcucano from The Magical Express for bringing his train to our Summerfest 2022 tonight. Such a massive hit for young and old(er). Got my ‘safety test run’ in early for quality assurance. Dream fulfilled✅ @LDCSB

So after canceling our first 2 nights for Summerfest 2022 due to weather, we were finally able to host the return of past, present and future families- former grads and even new JKs coming in September. Trains, castles, ice cream and all kinds of awesome! @LDCSB

Thanks to Ms. Strybosch for coaching our Adaptive Baseball Team sponsored by Jays Care who provided equipment and some pretty awesome @BlueJays swag!! @LDCSB

Our Gr. 4 students made very cool tie dye t-shirts and went on a great outdoor adventure into our nearby woods. Outdoor Ed in action!! @LDCSB

Thanks to Fr. Jude from Holy Family Parish for coming to celebrate our Catholic faith today. So good to be back together as a community. #betterthanTeamsliturgy @LDCSB

Special thanks to Mrs. Leslie, Mrs. Hutchinson and their students for celebrating the Summer birthdays including me and Mr. Seng ( aka Super Seng). Polka Birthday dance was another highlight! @LDCSB

Awesome night honouring our Class of 2022 Graduates in our first in person celebration at Holy Family Parish in 3 years! So good to be together. All the best to our incredible graduates- we know you are all bound for greatness!! We are so proud of each of you! @LDCSB

As was announced in January, Fr. Jim will be retiring at the end of June after 18 years as Pastor and Rector of St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica and 51 years of ministry in our Diocese... We will formally honour and celebrate Fr Jim on Sunday, June 12th at 2-5pm; Centennial Hall
