😶‍🌫️초보자 분들은 재무제표 읽을 때 주의해야 합니다. 내가 재무제표를 제대로 보고 있나? 놓친 부분은 없는 걸까? 재무제표를 제대로 이해하고 싶다면 이 글에 주목하세요. 이번 글은 '🌟부채비율'에 대한 글입니다. 요즘 방산쪽에서 떠오르는 LIG넥스원이라는 기업이 있습니다. 이 기업은 천궁-2로 유명한 기업인데 부채비율을 보면 약 400%에 달합니다. 재무가 이게 맞나..? 싶으면서 막상 손이 나가지 않죠. 요즘 증권사들은 이렇게 한 눈에 부채비율을 표시해주기 때문에 매우 직관적입니다. 직관적이라 해서 옳은 건 아닙니다. 우량기업인데 부채비율이 너무 높다면 한 번 뜯어볼 필요가 있습니다. 부채비율은 '부채총계/자본총계'*100'으로 계산됩니다. 즉, 부채총계 액수가 낮아질수록 부채비율이 낮아집니다. 🤔만약 부채총계 부분에 부채로 보기 어려운 것들이 섞여있다면? 부채가 아닌 것들을 걸러내서 진짜 부채인 것들만 따져봐야 진짜 부채비율이 나오겠죠? 1. LIG넥스원의 부채총계 대부분을 차지하고 있는 유동부채를 잘 보면 2. 유동계약부채 금액이 제일 큰 걸 알 수 있습니다. 3. 유동계약부채가 뭐길래 이렇게 클까요? 4. '수주 중심 기업'은 이 부분을 잘 주목하셔야 합니다. 5. 유동계약부채는 차입금 같은 진짜 빚과는 전혀 다른 개념입니다. 6. 쉽게 말하면 이런 겁니다. 7. UAE가 LIG에게 천궁-2 미사일 500억치를 주문했다고 쳐봅시다. 8. UAE는 500억 중 선수금으로 300억을 LIG넥스원에게 먼저 줍니다. 9. LIG넥스원은 선수금 300억을 받았지만 미사일 재고가 없어서 일단 100억원치 미사일만 줍니다. 10. 그럼 선수금은 300억을 받아놓고 미사일은 100억치만 줬으니 나머지 200억치 미사일을 더 줘야겠죠? 11. 이때 기업은 이미 납품한 100억원만 매출로 잡고, 선수금 300억원 중 아직 납품하지 않은 200억원은 유동계약부채로 잡습니다. 12. 즉 유동계약부채는 돈을 먼저 받았지만 아직 그에 해당하는 납품이나 용역 제공을 끝내지 않은 금액을 뜻합니다. 13. 이를 바꿔 말하면, 유동계약부채는 내가 납품을 끝내기면 하면 '1년 이내에 매출액으로 전환될 가능성이 매우 높은 금액'이라는 뜻이기도 합니다. 14. 매출로 넘어갈 금액을 단순 부채로 계산하면 의미가 이상해지겠죠? 15. 유동계약부채를 빼고 계산해보면 LIG넥스원의 진짜 부채비율은 약 180%로 낮아지게 됩니다. 16. 유동계약부채를 부채비율에서 빼지만 말고 이를 내년 매출액에 대입해보세요. 17. 25년 기준 유동계약부채가 26년에 모두 매출액으로 인식된다고 가정하면 18. LIG넥스원의 26년 매출액은 약 90%가 증가하게 됩니다. 19. 놀라운 숫자죠? 증권사가 제공하는 재무제표 요약본만 보면 기업의 재무를 오해할 수 있는 여지가 큽니다.
