I have yet to hear any elected official who states "more investment in public education" say how much is enough. Pennsylvania spends approx. 20k per student. Many of the worst performing districts receive the most money. It is obvious more money isn't helping.

DeSantis is so much worse a demagogue than Trump. Is there a less enticing way of making a point than by saying--as DeSantis does here, "Don't tell me x and expect me to accept that. I will not accept that?" You might as well just say, "Hey, it's me, Mr. Fake Bravado!"
