@GasPriceWizard Problem with her logics. Saudi population is 36 million. Smaller land mass. Pumps oil average 9.5 million barrels a day. Canadas population 41.5 million. One of the worlds largest land masses. Canadas average oil production 5.19 barrels a day. Opec manipulation of stocks

Take away all taxes on fuel and don’t impose NetZero policies that drive up fuel costs while evisceratinf the Loonie and the price of fuel would be 99 cents litre here in Toronto. Remove refinery margins or subsidize them and the price would be more like 85 cents a litre

@GasPriceWizard Saudi Arabia holds its oil price for domestic use at $0.62/l USD while selling its oil to the world at market prices. About 90% of gasoline sold in Canada comes from Albert's oil. Canada has independent control over its gas prices if it so chooses. How does that impact trade?

@LisaPar25480962 @GasPriceWizard To fund schools, hospitals, government unions roads, infrastructure. Oil is international and governments depend on it for money. Do you want to do away with other resources taxation? You might aswell be socialist communist like the ndp has become.

@LisaPar25480962 @GasPriceWizard Doesnt matter if im separatist or not the fact remains resources belong to each and every province. Federal, provincial, municipal all depend on taxation and royalties for funding. B.c lumber? Sask uranium? Alberta oil? Take the taxation away where does the money come from

Petroleum product like gasoline and diesel are more expensive on the Chicago market than New York, where it’s $4.02 a gallon vs. $3.74

@GasPriceWizard As a Calgarian I am so tired 🥱 f us paying more for gas than people in Ontario with the extra taxes there Really feels like the gas companies taking advantage of us.

@stockyrds @GasPriceWizard Wrong! The oil sands are primarily on Crown land. Albert's is part of Canada. That land currently belongs to the people of Canada. Crown land does not automatically go with a Province should the country allow it to secede. Therefore, the oil belongs to the Canadian people.

94 million acres of cropland about to get seeded. One of the largest cash injections at one time into the entire economy. This nation was built and is still built on the back of agriculture, long before a drilling rig struck oil, a farmer was waking up at 4am to get to work. “Each year, Canadian farmers and ranchers initiate a $20-billion, privately financed, biologically timed megaproject — executed in weeks, with no margin for delay or error. The food system, the economy and global markets depend on it succeeding.”
Calgary Herald@calgaryherald

Canada’s quietest $20-billion megaproject happens every spring in agriculture calgaryherald.com/opinion/canada…

Premier Doug Ford's private jet fiasco wasn't a one-off incident; it symbolizes his broader approach to handling taxpayer dollars. Ford used to campaign on ending the gravy train. Now he's driving it. Read more @TheTorontoSun

There was never an MOU signed for the PRGT pipeline project. The feds have no say in this pipeline project as the gas is not traveling interprovincaly. Again this is not about Alberta. We in NE BC have our own issues with economy terrorists that are foriegn funded.

@CanadianNeechie @XCenturionxx @deezynutz69 Actually the price spike is from several issues. Usa refinery off line due to electrical. Refineries in the middle of spring maintenance. Stock market traders fucking around
