@HMRCcustomers I’m not going to post any of that publicly. My accountant has submitted it and I’m due a refund. I am asking here if there is a backlog in general to understand if this is related to me or if claims are generally slow (it’s been 5 months) and it was advised to be 12 weeks.

@HMRCcustomers what is the current backlog of self assessment refunds? I submitted my accounts in January this year and still no sign. I have messaged to ask but I'm not getting any answers.

@HMRCcustomers It doesn’t show as anything as far as I can see. It’s confirmed you have my return. Is there a widespread issue here with the backlog?

@HMRCcustomers It’s being reviewed (and has been since Feb) by a specialist team. Can’t see a status.
