🚨BREAKING: Republicans' odds to flipping the Michigan US Senate seat JUMP OVERNIGHT.
Michigan - 2026 US Senate
🟥Mike Rogers 44.3% (+3.7)
🟦Abdul El-Sayed 40.6%
Polling average via Pollsmax.com.
Abdul El-Sayed has become the Democratic frontrunner, and compared to his primary opponents—Mallory McMorrow and Haley Stevens—he performs by far the worst against Mike Rogers.
If El-Sayed ends up being the nominee, Republicans will be the heavy favorites to flip Michigan's US Senate seat later this year.

@MikeCam65120138 @7Veritas4 @paulcshipley And trump is by far the worst President in American history. His impact has been all negative. Carney has been stable for Canada. Carney wins.
English

@7Veritas4 @paulcshipley A resume doesn’t mean you know what your doing. I’ve come across plenty of people in my lifetime that have an impressive résumé and they’re dumb as nails. Mark Carney has yet to do anything impactful in this country. So you can take his résumé and shove it right up your ass.
English

@BSmi2030 @7Veritas4 One could write a book destroying almost every element of that argument you are trying to make.
English

@7Veritas4 Trump graduated from NY military academy and earned his BA in economics from Wharton. He’s one of the most successful real estate developers in the world and is currently worth $6B

@jkdestin @GeraldoRivera Your comment does not make any sense. Figures. You drink too much Kool-Aid
English

@stone567 @GeraldoRivera Maybe you should research how Europe’s complacency and lessening of their defense spending — correlated with the fall of the Berlin Wall.
English

@stone567 @GeraldoRivera Let’s have an un-intelligent debate then. What are you afraid of - having to use critical thinking?
English

@jkdestin @GeraldoRivera No. I do entertain people who have a brain. It is like spitting in the wind.
English

@jkdestin @GeraldoRivera I would gladly have an intelligent conversation with someone who has intelligence. I dont find that here. Anyone who thinks that NATO has been unraveling for years is so stupid and not worthy of intelligent debate.
English

@stone567 @GeraldoRivera Give it your best try, Professor Genius.
English

@jkdestin @GeraldoRivera It is hard to argue with stupid, and your comment is so stupid and shows absolutely no understanding of world history and politics.
English

@jkdestin @GeraldoRivera You should stop posting until you get a brain. You have not a clue what you are talking about.
English

@GeraldoRivera No.
NATO (other than the USA & the UK) has been slowly unraveling itself for decades.
Trump is trying to use “tough love” to get them to carry their own weight — and make NATO sustainable for the long term.
English

@CortesSteve It is amazing that you put this in public and you really don’t understand what it means to be a defensive alliance. Very sad and pathetic.
English

@VinnysCorner1 Really??? DiMaggio? Berra? Ford? Dickey? Rivera? And I hate the Yankees.
English

@MVZaGoGo @MarkLevineNYC Thanks, Debbie Downer. What a negative fucking cunty twat you are.

Park Ave. got its name because a century ago it had a literal park in the median.
Now, at last, the park is coming back (from E.46th to E.57th). With reduction of two lanes of traffic, there will be wider sidewalks, an urban forrest in the median, benches, space for cultural programming, potentially a bike lane etc.
There are two final designs and you can vote on which you prefer. Take the survey here: surveymonkey.com/r/parkavenuevi…

@PaulDMauro If you had a clue as to what you were talking about, you would put into context would Biden faced and what Trump created. But, you are apparently to much of simpleton to take that into account.
English

Gas prices were higher under Biden -- as was inflation. Not a word from you. Facts.
Hakeem Jeffries@RepJeffries
Gas prices are out of control, community-based hospitals are closing in rural America and the Trump Tariffs have made your life more expensive. Things aren’t going well in this era of far right extremism. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

@rkylesmith It's not hard at all -- for Demo☭rats (who these days are absolute totalitarians),
it comes as naturally as breathing.
As @KurtSchlichter never tires of reminding us,
they want you/us dead.
English

@rkylesmith Please stop posting until you get a brain. Asinine comment from someone who is dumb as a doorknob

Build the Ballroom
Trump deserves a Purple Heart for being wounded in action. A third would-be assassin attempted but failed to kill him Saturday night. As you know the deeply troubling event happened on live television. Thankfully this time neither the President nor any of the attendees was hurt.
As he did during and following all three attempts, the President responded with true cool and courage. I was proud of him, and of the security folks who stopped the assailant, and ushered the President and his Cabinet to safety. Typically, our master showman didn’t miss a beat. As soon as it was clear he had not been hurt, he proposed restarting the show. I tweeted about the events as they unfolded.
“Trump wanted to show to go on because he has balls. He, the first lady, and everyone else is safe. Someone is in custody. Trump wanted the show to go on because he doesn't want the bad guys to win.”
The deranged gunman was captured in the act, and was shortly identified as Cole Allen, a 31-year-old California teacher who sent his family a manifesto 10 minutes before Saturday’s attack. In his bizarre rant he apologizes ‘to his parents, colleagues and students and to all who suffered before I was able to attempt this…’ From my point of view, I was also relieved that the shooter was neither Latino nor an immigrant, two groups recently singled out by activists for disproportionate criticism.
“Fuck the assailant. Still, unnerving that a punk managed to penetrate our formidable security apparatus. Questions to answer, but thankfully all are safe.”
Wife Erica and I have attended at least a half dozen of these grand events. Playfully called The Nerd Prom, the White House Correspondents Dinner gives journalists and celebrity guests a chance to mingle with presidents and potentates. I have had the honor of dining with Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, rocker Jon Bon Jovi and Astronaut Buzz Aldrin among others.
We were there in 2011 when my old pal Donald Trump was cruelly ridiculed by Barak Obama for his then just announced presidential ambitions. But the reporters present at the ball are the true VIP’s. And talk about being in the right place at the right time, CNN’s old lion Wolf Blitzer was the man of the moment when the shots rang out.
“CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer shaken but still coolly reporting the extraordinary peril the president and cabinet survived unscathed. A shooter inside one of the most secure areas on earth. It is a stunning event.”
The aftermath of the event raised serious questions about safety for participants. Virtually the entire Cabinet was present, and it was deeply disturbing to ponder the possible loss of everyone from the President and First Lady to Vice President J.D. Vance, House Speaker Mike Johnson, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
They were all there, all potential targets in an old ballroom that is obviously difficult to protect. Which brings me to the $400 billion-dollar, monumental White House Ballroom advocated by the President, but held up in court.
“Build the ballroom. I felt I was watching Designated Survivor. Virtually the entire line of presidential succession was in that lame Hilton space. Way too freaky dangerous. Build the Ballroom.”
Build the Ballroom.

@MeghanMcCain No one really cares what you have to say. You are an embarrassment to your family.
