@DoctorFishbones If you had an emergency you dialed 0 and ask for the fire department, they would ask you questions like what City are you in, what's your address, today you can dial 911, hang up and the police will show up.

This is going to blow some of the younger generation away but there was a time when you could dial 0 on your landline phone and talk to a human operator working for AT&T and they would help you
