A step closer towards support, care, and healing. We are delighted to share that Chhanv Foundation has now established its Help Desk Centre at the Burns OPD Block, Doctor’s Room – Room No. 4, Department of Burns & Plastic Surgery, Safdarjung Hospital. Through this initiative, we will now be able to more closely assist acid attack survivors and burn survivors in accessing proper medical care, guidance, and support. We sincerely thank the hospital authorities for their support and cooperation in making this possible. If you, your relatives, or anyone known to you ever faces such a painful situation, please know that we are here to help, assist, and stand beside you throughout the journey of treatment and recovery. @SJHDELHI #safdarjung #helpdesk #helpinghands #acidattacksurvivors #stopacidattacks

On their way to Noida, our survivors from Bihar, along with @chhanv20345, stopped at our @SheroesHangout café and spent a beautiful day visiting the iconic Taj Mahal. For many of them, this was more than just a visit. It was a moment of peace, joy, and togetherness after a long journey of challenges and healing. Witnessing the serene beauty of the Taj Mahal while sharing laughter and memories with each other became a reminder that survivors, too, deserve moments filled with happiness, freedom, and hope. #tajmahal #agra #bihar #acidattacksurvivors #sheroeshangout

A 21-year-old woman was returning home after work in Pune when acid was allegedly thrown on her by a man who could not accept rejection. In seconds, her life changed forever. Her body burned, her skin was scarred, and the future she dreamed of was shattered. Her friend was also injured while trying to save her. This is not love. This is not heartbreak. This is obsession turning into violence. No woman should have to fear being attacked for simply choosing her own life. Yet again, acid was used as a weapon to punish a woman for moving on. How many more survivors must suffer before acid stops being so easily accessible? How many more lives must be destroyed before strict action becomes urgent? The accused tried to run, tried to hide, and tried to escape accountability. But the scars left behind on survivors do not disappear. Acid attacks leave lifelong physical pain, emotional trauma, endless surgeries, and a battle no survivor should ever have to fight alone. As we are setting up our centre in Pune, if you come across any incident related to acid violence, harassment, abuse, or survivors needing urgent support, please DM us with details or comment below. No survivor should feel abandoned or unheard. Raise your voice. Share this story. Demand justice. Demand stricter acid control laws. Because silence only protects the attackers. #punecity #acidattacks #stopacidattacks #sheroeshangout

Our hospitality training batch at @VivantaHotels has now been successfully completed, marking the end of a two month transformative journey for our Sheroes filled with learning, resilience, and growth. This journey was not just about professional hospitality training, but about rebuilding self-belief, confidence, and the courage to move towards an independent future. Throughout these two months, our Sheroes gained hands-on experience, developed new skills, and embraced an environment that encouraged growth, dignity, and opportunity. On the concluding day, our Sheroes were recognised for their dedication, hard work, and commitment throughout the programme. Every moment of this journey reflected their strength and determination to create a better future for themselves. We are deeply grateful to Vivanta Pune for believing in the potential of our survivors and for creating a space that nurtures empowerment through opportunity and learning. @TajHotels @SheroesHangout

Every survivor deserves more than survival. They deserve opportunities, support, dignity, and the confidence to begin again. Across Bihar, our team continues to work on the ground, reaching survivors through counselling, rehabilitation support, and continuous engagement. Together with the Women and Child Development Corporation, Bihar, we are building a stronger support system that aims to create long-term change for 160+ acid attack survivors across the state. What lies ahead is not just an initiative, but a step towards independence, empowerment, and a future filled with hope. This journey continues every single day, and we will keep moving forward until help reaches the last survivor. If you know someone who needs support, please connect with us via DM or help us spread the message. @IPRDBihar @DoSWBihar @SheroesHangout

As the summer heat continues to rise, our Sheroes team in West Bengal stepped onto the streets with a simple intention, to offer a moment of relief and kindness to those moving through the scorching day. From workers to daily commuters, everyone deserves care in this unforgiving heat. Through the distribution of cool beverages, our Sheroes not only shared refreshments but also reminded people that compassion can be felt in the smallest gestures. Because sometimes, even a glass of something cold can make someone feel seen, cared for, and a little less exhausted. #heatwave #chhanvfoundation #stopacidattacks #heatset #summer

Sushma Gupta, one of the newest acid attack survivors from Bihar, was brutally attacked in 2020. A few weeks back, during our ongoing outreach and #sheroesyatra in collaboration with the @WCDBihar, she got associated with us while we continue reaching out to, counselling, and supporting 160+ acid attack survivors in building a better path for their future ahead. In that journey itself, Sushma reached our centre in Noida, carrying not just the scars of the attack but also the courage to begin rebuilding her life again, slowly and one step at a time. Yesterday was one such important step. Under the supervision of Dr. Shivangi Saha at @aiims_newdelhi, Sushma underwent an eyelid surgery. The surgery was successful, and she is now recovering well. Healing after an acid attack is never just physical. It is emotional, mental, and deeply personal. But with every small step forward, survivors like Sushma continue to remind us what real strength truly looks like. @IPRDBihar @DoSWBihar @SheroesHangout

Across Bihar, a silent transformation is slowly taking shape. Every day, our team continues to reach acid attack survivors with counselling, support, and the assurance that they are not alone in this fight. What once began as an outreach initiative has now grown into a larger movement for dignity, rehabilitation, and long-term empowerment. In collaboration with the @WCDBihar, we are working towards creating stronger opportunities for more than 160+ survivors through rehabilitation support, skill development, and pathways towards self-independence. This journey is about rebuilding lives, restoring confidence, and ensuring that every survivor gets the chance to move forward with hope and dignity. If you know someone who needs support, connect with us through DM or help us spread the message further. @IPRDBihar @DoSWBihar @SheroesHangout
