A charitable view of Gun Nut Americans is they are like circus elephants trained since birth. They have the manpower to turn against their masters successfully, but they are not conscious of this. They tiptoe around and are terrorized by the crack of a tiny whip.
A non-charitable view is that they are just cowardly larpers. They know they can do something, but won't, and continue to pay taxes obediently and watch the Epstein class do their thing.

@MezzoHS @Pirat_Nation the factions mode in the og tlou actually did really well and still has an active player base to this day. i’ve probably spent close to a thousand hours playing it. i’m sure this would’ve at least done well enough to justify the production budget and a few years of support

When I was in my 20s I wished to deepen my understanding of the Israel-Palestine situation. So I purchased at least a dozen books - mostly semi-obscure, academic, many by dissenting Israeli historians.
A day came when I closed a book halfway through, resolved to read no further, even to try to forget all I had learned, and then I donated all the books. It was clear, painfully and miserably clear, that I would be wasting my life trying to understand it more when it was nothing more than this.

-Then you have to pay for all processing power to them for working, game/video cloud streaming, they want it to be your only option.
-Then they will charge you, by month, by hour, then by minute.
-Then they will monitor it all and censor it as they please, like Sony wants to do with PlayStation.
-Their Terms of Service will dictate it all and without the power of choice, they won't care how you feel about it.

This game isnt made for people who play 8–12 hours a day as if it’s their job.
If youve already maxed out your progression and hit Level 75, you’re not the main target audience - you’re a "power player" whos put massive time into it in a very short span.
Most regular players ("average joe") still havent finished the base missions, unlocked all workbench upgrades, or touched the real endgame.
Your standards and requirements dont reflect the experience for the majority of the community, so maybe dont push them onto everyone.
Let the game grow with its wider audience in mind, not just the quickest grinders.
