@BRWalkoff The MLB is scripted big time. Like how are the Rays 15 games above 500 while the Jays aren't like that's not fair MLB! It's outrageous. It's a complete crap

@y2e2coups @mmjukic Oh yeah they failed so hard against China 🙄. And I guess we’ll ignore the legal battle Open AI is in atm, and act like the deal announced today with Anthropic didn’t happen. Other than that you’re 100% correct.

I find it funny that nearly 20 years after Elon Musk first launched a rocket into space and sold his first electric vehicle, people are still asking themselves "Is he serious?" What more possible evidence of seriousness do people need? They just don't want to believe it!
Jukan@jukan05

Elon’s SpaceX has submitted plans for its first fab, and the initial investment alone is reportedly $55 billion. If fully expanded, total spending could reach as much as $119 billion. …Are they serious?

@threeofivethree @RealMikeSchall Use existing right of ways where possible, such as along highways and tracks currently used for Cargo. Still need to solve the last mile issue though once you get to your destination city as much of Florida is just suburban sprawl.

@eren_mlops @TeslaAaronL Who knows with Europe, too much red tape and slow acting bureaucracy. The door is finally cracked open with FSD approval in the Netherlands though.

@stottj3 @TeslaAaronL I thought gov in China would be reluctant to allow since it’s competitor to Chinese FSD attempts from BYD and others. For example, do you think Germany will ever (in the middle-run/term) allow FSD (even supervised) 🤔??

A Model Y L was driving normally, slowed to yield at a crosswalk, and was about to continue when it suddenly slammed on the brakes. A cyclist appeared out of nowhere. The driver didn’t even see it. Tesla did. That brake likely prevented an accident.

@eren_mlops @TeslaAaronL All good, due to data collection/export rules they had to train the system for the Chinese market in large part using training from publicly available videos. They discussed this on a previous earnings call but I forget which one.

@TeslaAaronL There is no FSD approved in China right now. So it could be Automatic Emergency Break??

Three years since the first flight of Starship, the next generation is here. New ship. New booster. New engines. New pad and new test site. SpaceX engineers are working to solve one of the most difficult engineering challenges in history: developing a fully, rapidly reusable rocket

NEWS: NASA is planning a bigger @SpaceX Moon mission role using Starship, in a massive blow to Boeing. With the new proposal, Boeing's SLS would no longer be used to boost Orion close to the moon. Instead, Starship and Orion would dock in Earth orbit, giving Starship the pivotal role of propelling the capsule to the moon’s orbit, before taking astronauts down to the surface. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

@KratosDisciple @lookner In that we find agreement. However in the past they at least tried to put more effort to sell us a war even if it was based off lies. (Think WMDs, babies in incubators, anthrax etc). Now they do whatever, public opinion be dammed.

@stottj3 @lookner Hate to break it to you. The warmongers in D.C. have never cared about public opinion. And I doubt they ever will. Trump cares, but he is term limited. And with the success of the current bombing operation, they might be able to talk him in to a limited ground campaign.

@KratosDisciple @lookner If Trump wants to tank whatever is left of his presidency and ruin any semblance of a legacy that’s a great strategy. The American public will not stomach the elevated casualties that would inevitably result.

@stottj3 @lookner Ground troops are always in range of artillery fire. It is the nature of ground troops. Unsurprisingly, militaries the world over have ways of mitigating that fact.

@lookner Marines could take these three sparsely populated islands. Once established, they could move on Qeshm and put pressure on Bandar Abbas which is the heart of the Strait Of Hormuz. There is no need to occupy all of Iran.

@adamscochran There's an extra 6M barrels/day flowing to the red sea via east-west pipeline. Although doesn't make up for the losses, it does lessen the impact.
