People don't appreciate how effective Trump's reply is. All of our so-called allies have been throwing temper tantrums since day one of this operation because we didn't inform them. Washington insiders, politicians, and MSM talking heads who have an over-inflated opinion of their importance have also been whining. Trump just put the whole question to rest.

It is unreasonably preposterous how often I, with all sincerity, have to remind people that the Earth is not actually a flat surface on a piece of paper. I can't even blame RTS games, because ones as simple as Age of Empires or Civilization should be sufficient to understand.

No follow-on footage of the aircraft descending, crashing, or wreckage is provided. If this were genuine combat footage of a successful engagement against a $100M+ F-35, Iran would have released the full unedited sequence to prove the jet was actually downed or at least critically damaged. The abrupt cut is a classic sign of selective editing to hide the fact that the target continued flight. Actual aircraft status per U.S. CENTCOM: The F-35 sustained only minir damage and made a safe emergency landing at a regional U.S. base with the pilot uninjured. The most credible reporting indicates the damage was caused by friendly-fire debris (likely fragments from an intercepted Iranian ballistic missile the F-35 was engaging). No evidence supports a direct IRGC air-defense kill (they don't have any).

The video is fake - The aircraft appears in a representation of a thermal imaging system - frame by frame viewing shows the thermal image of the jet exhaust contains shock diamonds that do not move. Shock diamonds (Mach diamonds) are dynamic flow features in a jet engine's exhaust plume. They form from repeating shock waves and expansion fans where the exhaust is supersonic (common in afterburner or high-thrust regimes). In real flight, especially under varying conditions the diamonds do shift position, stretch/compress, brighten/dim, or even disappear/reappear as the plume adapts. They are never perfectly static frame-to-frame over multiple seconds in genuine footage of a maneuvering aircraft. In thermal/IR imagery (what the clip purports to show via radar/IRST lock), the plume is one of the hottest, most prominent signatures on an F-35 (even with its cooled, shielded exhaust design). The completely motionless, unchanging plume (identical diamonds in the same positions across frames) screams static render or looped animation — typical of Flight simulators (e.g., DCS World, where users create Iran-vs-US strike scenarios and export thermal views). or Video game mods/clips (Arma 3, etc., have been repeatedly repurposed for "Iran shootdown" propaganda). This matches patterns from prior Iranian-claimed "F-35 kills" (especially 2025 incidents. ):Many turned out to be recycled simulator footage, AI-generated, or game clips (e.g., DCS Su-57 vs. SAM engagements mislabeled as F-35s). Iranian state/IRGC media has a track record of releasing hyped visuals that don't hold up to frame analysis — often radar blips or brief locks without verifiable impact/wreckage. Combined with the confirmed facts: US/CNN reporting only a damaged F-35 making a safe emergency landing (no total loss or mid-air breakup). No independent wreckage photos, pilot capture claims, or debris verification from Iran. The clip itself (from the @AryJeay post) is short (~6 seconds), shows lock/flash but no catastrophic destruction or follow-through. 🚨Crews at risk in the Gulf🚨 Just heard from a crewmember on one of the 3,200 ships stuck in the Persian Gulf. A ship called the local port authority requested permission to dock as they had run out of water. They were denied permission! Multiple ships are in the same condition, with stores, food and fuel running low. Ports are overwhelmed and security is such that they are refusing permission for ships to dock. In my opinion, this type of rhetoric is counterproductive. BEV's don't need hype or propaganda. The fundamentals of BEV's are mechanically superior to internal combustion engines. As they mature, they will sell themselves. Attempting to force BEV's on car buyers only creates hostility.

@lrodrig20 @JessePeltan That was my point. Only 1.6% of new cars in Mexico were EV's in 2025. Undoubtedly, those were to wealthier people that charge at home.
