I will be 100% honest: WrestleMania 42 felt soulless. The whole thing felt soulless. That’s the term I use for the Apex, and that’s the term I use when I see the AI stuff—but this was on a different level. That did not feel like WrestleMania. It felt stripped down. It didn’t feel big. I’m not against advertising, but there are ways to do it with grace and class. Literally everything was for sale. They have gone from nothing to completely overboard.

It’s sad that I even have to say this, but: Just because fans don’t like a wrestling segment or a wrestler doesn’t mean it’s good heel work. Stop using that as an excuse to defend bad WWE television. The point of a heel is to make you want to pay to see them lose and elevate the babyface. If you’re at the point where you don’t even want to watch and feel like turning the show off, that’s not good heel heat. That’s bad television and bad storytelling. The fact that some people can’t tell the difference is honestly sad. You shouldn’t need me to explain this.
