@elonmusk 1. Could not adjust the down payment in the app or reach someone via phone. Had to go to the service center to get help. 2. Being a first time buyer, the pick up experience wasn’t clear and felt impersonal. 4. Knowing the process will make second purchase experience better.

Please reply to this post with any difficulties you may have had in trying to buy a Tesla. Our goal is for the purchase and delivery experience to be fast and simple, with accurate answers to your questions. The key test is that you would recommend it to a friend.

Just got off a call from a friend, asking me about my experience with Tesla vehicles. He is BMW M5 owner. Right after the BMW 4-year/50k mile warranty came to an end, all kinds of issues surfaced. His current mileage is over 70k miles but he has already spent close to $30k on repairs. Deeply fed up with the high cost of maintenance and repairs, he is now looking into Tesla and is interested in getting Cybertruck as his daily commute/family vehicle. I told him my experience and explained why it’s the most enjoyable vehicle I’ve ever driven.

Many times performance pay is based on student test scores. This can corrupt the learning environment by hyper focusing on a singular testing day event. Teachers merit-based pay should include other measures that help promote healthy learning environments for students, positive family engagements, mentoring and supporting other educators. These are just a few ways to recognize excellence in the teaching profession.

Vivek Ramaswamy wants Ohio to be the first state in the country to implement merit-based pay for teachers & principals in our public schools. Pay for performance - period. Education is taxpayer funded. Do you support paying better teachers more based on performance?

I was on the flight and the @Delta flight crew handle the situation as professional. As the cabin filled with smoke the crew gave clear guidance to keep us calm. One concern was the flight crew initially had a hard time reaching the pilots. Once they did, we headed back to Atlanta. Navigating the slide was harder than it looks.

@VivekGRamaswamy Shining a light on the spending is the only way to stop wasteful spending. The litmus test that every decision a household has to make, “Can we live without this until we have the money to pay for it?” Should be applied to all spending.

I wanted to read the full 1,500+ page bill & speak with key leaders before forming an opinion. Having done that, here's my view: it's full of excessive spending, special interest giveaways & pork barrel politics. If Congress wants to get serious about government efficiency, they should VOTE NO. Keeping the government open until March 14 will cost ~$380BN by itself, but the true cost of this omnibus CR is far greater due to new spending. Renewing the Farm Bill for an extra year: ~$130BN. Disaster relief: $100BN. Stimulus for farmers: $10BN. The Francis Scott Key Bridge replacement: $8BN. The proposal adds at least 65 cents of new spending for every dollar of continued discretionary spending. The legislation will end up hurting many of the people it purports to help. Debt-fueled spending sprees may "feel good" today, but it's like showering cocaine on an addict: it's not compassion, it's cruelty. Farmers will see more land sold to foreign buyers when taxes inevitably rise to meet our obligations. Our children will be saddled with crippling debt. Interest payments will be the largest item in our national budget. Congress has known about this deadline since they created it in late September. There's no reason why this couldn't have gone through the standard process, instead of being rushed to a vote right before Congressmen want to go home for the holidays. The urgency is 100% manufactured & designed to avoid serious public debate.   The bill could have easily been under 20 pages. Instead, there are dozens of unrelated policy items crammed into the 1,547 pages of this bill. There's no legitimate reason for them to be voted on as a package deal by a lame-duck Congress. 72 pages worth of “Pandemic Preparedness and Response” policy; renewal of the much-criticized "Global Engagement Center," a key player in the federal censorship state; 17 different pieces of Commerce legislation; paving the way for a new football stadium in D.C.; a pay raise for Congressmen & Senators and making them eligible for Federal Employee Health Benefits. It's indefensible to ram these measures through at the last second without debate. We're grateful for DOGE's warm reception on Capitol Hill. Nearly everyone agrees we need a smaller & more streamlined federal government, but actions speak louder than words. This is an early test. The bill should fail.

I spent 5 days in the Ozark mountains with no phone. Here are 29 things I learned: 1. Modern technology has us in a constant state of overstimulation. 2. Nature is one of God’s greatest antidepressants. 3. The less time you spend consuming social media and the news, the less susceptible you are to lies, fear mongering and deception. 4. When you’re in the middle of nowhere, the best form of entertainment is exercise. 5. If you want to better connect with the people you’re with, put down your phone. 6. The more active you are, the better you sleep. 7. To better solve problems, remove distractions. 8. Downtime provides you an opportunity to grow closer to God. 9. Packed calendars create anticipation and kill creativity. 10. Peak mental clarity cannot be achieved with constant stimulation from screens. 11. Humans are batteries and our charger is alone time with God. 12. The modern lifestyle of living fast is a recipe for stress. 13. The more time you spend outside, the better you feel. 14. When you remove conveniences like electricity and running water, your gratitude skyrockets. 15. If you want a calmer mind, you need to place yourself in a calmer environment. 16. Being self-sufficient breeds confidence. 17. To better hear the voice of God, make all other inputs as quiet as possible. 18. Exploration is one of the best sources of creativity. 19. Presence and anticipation cannot coexist. 20. Detachment provides new perspectives; time away from my business exposed the problems with my business. 21. If you want better sleep, align your sleep schedule with the sun. 22. Whatever you become anxious about back home reveals your true values. 23. We’re often more scared of breaking the “rules” than we are of doing what it is we want to do. 24. Walking alone in the dark is scarier than walking with others; find community. 25. Focus and distractions cannot coexist. 26. Read the bible, pray and journal at the beginning of the day so you can fight off the enemy's attacks throughout the rest of the day. 27. Conquering challenges gives you proof that you are capable of great feats. 28. A fire only continues to burn if you keep feeding it; never stop working on you. 29. Life is better when you regularly consume coffee and home-made cookies.

Today is the final graduation for Assistant Principal Shelley Kepler. She has had a #powerful 35 year career for the School District of Lee County. I cannot thank her enough for all the hard work she has put in at South Fort Myers High for the past 7 years. I wish Shelley a happy retirement. Thank you Hurricane Kepler! ❤️ #TEAMSOUTH
