@Gerashchenko_en Sometimes I wonder, do people like him know they’re already are in a prison they made themselves? I was at the beach today, with a beer and not worried about Shoigu or anyone on their phone.

Putin is growing increasingly paranoid: Several media, including the CNN and the Financial Times have published a report that was allegedly provided to them by an employee of the intelligence service of an EU country. The document allegedly describes what's going on in the Kremlin and Putin's close circle. According to the report, the Kremlin is very worried about the leaks of sensitive information and the risk of a possible coup against Putin. Key points from the report: 🔷️Security measures around Putin have been tightened even more: ◾️He and his family are no longer seen in their usual residences; ◾️Putin stays in bunkers more and more often, including one in Krasnodar region; ◾️Employees who work in direct contact with Putin, are forbidden to use cell phones and public transportation. ❗️🔷️Shoigu is regarded as a possible factor for destabilization: he keeps being influential in military circles, and is considered as a risk for staging a coup. 🔷️The tension between Russian law enforcement structures continues growing: ◾️Attacks on Russian generals cause fear; ◾️There is a lack of resources to protect them in the Russian rear; ◾️Various structures are in conflict with each other due to issues with coordination of security measures for Russian officers. ◾️Security measures for the 10 high-ranking Russian generals have been increased. This used to apply only to Gerasimov. 🔷️A small curious fact: no Russian Duma MP was invited to the parade on the Red Square this year.

Day 22. Nazziwa Agather is still missing. In a country that claims to be peaceful, citizens are being abducted in broad daylight—again and again. Silence cannot be the answer. Where is she?

@KakandeAlex But why don’t we ever see married women speaking like that? Why is it the losers that have failed to raise a family of their own that we see speaking garbage and why don’t those sour losers stop sleeping around with the very people they despise!!!

@KakandeAlex Then she shd stick to finance cuz every time she ventures into social issues, it’s about how bitter she is with men. She’s a loser on that front and we know too well she’s tryna water down what she has failed to achieve and perhaps will never

Social media is an interesting place. If you have listened to more than 5 long form interviews of Pumla, you will know what she stands for and you would appreciate her thorough critical thoughts and deep knowledge of everything women and finance and financial literacy.

@KakandeAlex It’s not by mistake that all men, universally behave or possess a certain character that women will never understand and the same applies to them. It’s nature, we were created that way and the women who’ve mastered managing our xteristics are raising marvelous families.

Its not like she is wrong. Sometimes us Men are not easy btw. This is not me siding with her on men/women issues. This is me acknowledging the shortcomings in us as men and the many disappointments we bring to our partners.

@JumahL62826 @ShimonAine @KlaHospital Low pay doesn’t not necessarily imply one should have that kinda attitude towards the patients and care takers. Unfortunately this is not isolated. This is a general characteristic in Uganda where people selling goods/services think they’re doing the buyer a favor.

@ShimonAine @KlaHospital So many factors here; Those nurses get very little pay, and good medical care is expensive. The person speaking is a nurse herself. So she can easily notice the loopholes.

Every attempt that was made to report for a missing person to police and have a reference number was frustrated by @PoliceUg . On every attempt police has instead threatened to detain the person reporting the case 😒 Let me remind you that she's still missing after her abduction

@Barristerstreet It appears that migrants, wherever they go, tend to do better than the locals regardless of the country. They see opportunities that locals don’t see. It’s everywhere from the US to my own home country. They tend to be disliked for exactly that reason - being able to prosper

🇿🇦 JUST IN: Xenophobic mobs continue to unleash violence against Black Africans. Residents have been urged to remain indoors and protect their belongings as unrest linked to xenophobic violence intensifies in parts of Johannesburg. Authorities and locals describe the situation as volatile, with warnings to avoid unnecessary movement.

@BarackObama Somebody pls help me understand. Are Supreme Court decisions laws unto themselves and are they above the constitution? If it’s a legal issue, should it not be addressed through a Constitutional Court?

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach. The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.

It is fair enough & reasonable for artists like Fik Gaza to come in for Eddy Kenzo koz man the criticism has gone beyond fair judgment and has turned into insults, including tribal remarks, plus attacks on his wife, family and ex-wife wc is wrong & harmful. The main concern tho is that if this continues, it will slow down the growth of the music industry, which has been trying to become more organised. These constant fighting and division will only weaken progress instead of helping it move forward. Mr Govt somewhere has to be smiling. This is what he wanted. Abayimbi muswadde nnyo!
