@TalonRahl_exe @MarathonTheGame Marathon feels really bad to play right now. I didn’t play the first week and now it feels impossible to level up. I think I’m done with it. Games are supposed to feel good and be fun, just not feeling it this season.

@MarathonTheGame Hurts me how cool this game is. Because these patches are just making the game not fun. I don’t want marathon to die, but it’s dire and whoever is in charge is speedrunning the community leaving. Hope to see worth while changes in the coming months!

🚨 Marathon Economy Update 🚨 The devs say Marathon Season 2 progression is happening much faster than intended. Players reached Week 11-12 Season 1 wealth levels by Week 2. Causes include a bug increasing high-rarity loot, unintended gold drops, Sponsored Kits, and Survival/Control chest issues. Temporary nerfs to loot progression and Cradle XP are live while they investigate.

@staycationtg EXACTLY!!! It is so hard to catch up on the cradle system now, it feels awful.

Progression needed a nerf but doing it at a time where the best players are juiced to the brim and the average player will find loot and cradle at an even slower rate feels brutal. Not to mention the game is win conditioned to a Mizzy still and without one you just lose. Imma cry

@MarathonDevTeam This cradle system feels awful, I have dumped my entire vault at it from day one and I haven’t maxed it out. This feels really bad and I’m about to give up on this game for good.

@MarathonGG_ 2, too sweaty. Even the pvp light mode sucks, make everyone fight for one exfil at the end is stupid, not what people were asking for. The cradle is awful, takes forever to level up and feel fun to play. Bring back the green shield sponsor kits, the other ones suck and are no fun

We have identified some issues affecting the progression systems and loot economy and will be rolling out a few fixes: Cert containers: Fixing an issue causing more Cert containers to spawn than intended in Night Marsh. Cradle: Given the increased quality and quantity of loot, we've increased progression costs by 25%. We are also still tracking down more issues and will be adjusting loot drops globally while we investigate. We want loot to feel rewarding, but also not flood the economy with too many powerful items early in the season. We'll continue to monitor these systems and feedback closely throughout the season.
