Very tediously the usual Leftie race-baiters on here think that they're having an "Aha!" moment apparently exposing me as both a hypocrite and a racist because they found a 12-year-old tweet. Sigh.
To save answering every query individually, here you go:
The tweet was posted in November 2014 as an audience question for a phone-in on LBC. It asked whether Lewis Hamilton could be a great British sporting hero when he was also a tax exile in Monaco. This was a subject of debate in the British media at the time.
I honestly can't even remember what my view was back then but, apparently, asking this question is PROOF that I judge black Britons who become tax exiles more harshly than I judge white Britons for doing the exact same thing because I don't have an issue with Jim Ratcliffe being a tax exile in Monaco and also voicing an opinion on our economy and immigration policy.
But these are two entirely different scenarios.
Lewis Hamilton wraps himself in the Union flag after F1 races yet he doesn't pay taxes here - and hasn’t done for most of his career as he left Britain when he was 22.
Jim Ratcliffe, on the other hand, built up a business in the UK, creating jobs and living here for his entire working life, paying huge sums in tax here for many years. He didn’t leave Britain until he was 68. And he doesn’t wrap himself in the Union flag or get treated as a great British hero.
But according to my critics, the only difference between these two men is their skin colour and therefore that MUST be why I view them differently.
Isn't it strange how the Left is so obsessed with race that it's all they can see?
Didn't we used to have a word for people who could only see people for the colour of their skin? 🤷🏻♀️
