28 years ago the Belfast Agreement came into existence. It created a ‘process’ of ‘unionism must give, and nationalism must get’.
As shown most visibly by the Protocol, the purported safeguards contained therein apply only to nationalists.
Those who supported it were wrong.

I speak to many Lisburn, lots of people even, and so often they say how TERRIBLE the local Alliance Party team there are. They note that Cllr Kurtis Dickson and Jamie Harpur are particularly poor! I have been told that the former is too busy with other things - interesting!

The idea that Robbie Butler or any other Unionist would be able to shape a "New Ireland" is for the birds. Unionists would have to trust Irish nationalism to be perpetually generous. That's beyond absurd and a position Irish nationalism has always rejected in a NI context.
