This is just silly. Let’s encourage the kids to just enjoy what they don’t realise at this point is going to be the best period of their lives.


Should not proceed unless & until the obvious imbalance in monuments & statues both outside & inside Stormont Parliament buildings is decisively addressed.

Another year is destined to pass without Unionist leaders attending an Irish nationalist/republican commemoration & thereby beginning to reciprocate the important outreach gestures made by Nat/Rep. leaders re Remembrance over recent decades.


The idea that Robbie Butler or any other Unionist would be able to shape a "New Ireland" is for the birds. Unionists would have to trust Irish nationalism to be perpetually generous. That's beyond absurd and a position Irish nationalism has always rejected in a NI context.
