Today our Mobile Testing Units will finish operating after starting in 2020 and we want to say a huge thanks to all MTU staff
We deployed 39 MTU teams, employed 1755 staff and over 2.2 million tests have been carried out making it the largest project ever delivered by SAS
The FAST Roadshow and online roadshow event was very successful and reached over 1100 staff. This was a refresher for some and others learned this vital skill for the first time. Thanks to all for taking part. Keep spreading the word and save lives!

Penultimate day of the FAST Roadshow - the North MTU FAST Awareness teams were today visiting Inverness DHQ - more of our non-clinical staff being equipped with life saving skills!

Great morning so far at the SSCA national meeting. Fascinating insight from the @strokeSAS team on the stroke pathway and how they process the 1.5 million emergency calls they receive from potential stroke patients annually #SSCA22
In her presentation at Amazing Brains 2022, @AudreyBowenProf from the @OfficialUoM spoke about her research, and about how surviving a stroke should only be the beginning, with significant aftercare and rehabilitation to follow.

3 weeks into the FAST Awareness Roadshow and this week the MTU FAST Awareness teams paid a visit to the SAS ACC's. Here is the team during their visit to West ACC.
MTU FAST Awareness teams are out across all 3 regions 7 days per week until the end of August. Here they are today at Prestonpans station. Thanks to all staff who are engaging with the teams during their visits. Acting FAST can save lives!
