I talked to an international scout this week who told me that soon-to-be new Mavericks wing Tarik Biberovic is "the most plug-and-play Euro I've seen for the NBA in years. He's ready to be a rotation guy on Day 1 with his shooting." Mavs did really well to get Biberovic, Santi Aldama and Marcus Sasser, all while keeping the AD TPE fully intact.

With the addition of AJ Johnson, I swear this deal makes even more sense now.
Can send AJ to OKC which they can keep or cut, but either way will cut down their tax bill tremendously. Send the necessary draft capital (Presti’s favorite word) and boom. Done deal.
