@ScottJenningsKY He couldn’t save a kitten from a tree. Have you seen him?
And you’re correct… you simply cannot understand.
And there is no such thing as a free lunch in Washington. Those “private” funds will cost the US taxpayer plenty in more tax breaks and government contracts.

People who are born deaf and grow up using sign language actually think in sign language. Not in words they hear in their head but in visual spatial concepts. They mentally see the shapes and movements of signs.
But it goes deeper than that. Research shows that thought is not actually dependent on language the way most hearing people assume. A lot of thinking happens in images, feelings, spatial relationships and abstract concepts that exist before language gives them a name.
The assumption that thinking requires words is actually a hearing person's assumption. Deaf communities have pushed back on this for decades.
The more interesting question is whether any of us are really thinking in words at all, or whether language is just the tool we use to explain thoughts that already happened.

Luka Doncic says LeBron James has a big influence on on his weight loss:
“I saw how LeBron James takes care of his body every single day, like it’s part of the job, not an option. The discipline, the routine, the sacrifices… it’s on another level. And I realized, if I want to stay great and compete at the highest level for a long time, I have to start treating my body the same way.
Because sometimes, the real wake up call doesn’t come from criticism or losses, it comes from standing next to greatness and seeing the difference in preparation. Talent can take you far, but discipline is what keeps you there. And when you learn from someone who’s done it for decades, you don’t just improve your game… you change your entire mindset.”

So we already have the Aces and Kings, what would be the best name for the potential Vegas NBA Franchise?
Shams Charania@ShamsCharania
Breaking: The NBA's Board of Governors has approved a vote for the league to explore bids and applicants for expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle, sources tell ESPN. A bidding process is expected to generate offers in the $7-10 billion range for each team.

@LukeBrereton44 @GmanPoker I agree. Bc calling in her spot is the whole reason everyone has reacted to this. You don’t make wild plays if you’re trying to get away with something. I think there is a solid chance she just fd up. But I fully get Garrett’s perspective bc that hand can’t be played like that.
English

@stu33 @GmanPoker And when you really think about it. The first option is so much more likely. If she fed info, she would have found a better spot than getting it on the flop as a flip / slight underdog.
English

@MystiKalLimitz @GmanPoker well, that's one take. I'm quite sure Garrett has lost a lot of bigger hands in a lot of bigger spots. It's the idea that the game may not have been level that that is the issue.. 10K or 100K. That's a problem. That's why people play in casinos instead of home games.
English

@GmanPoker What story? How you acted like a psychopath towards someone that didn't do a damn thing. The fact you're still so bitter that you had to write this is hilarious. She continues to live rent free in your head.
English

@AlZeidenfeld Ooh be careful Al. They don’t do well with facts. Tread lightly.
English

@AlZeidenfeld It's impossible to overstate how unbelievably stupid, hateful and willfully ignorant he is. It is astounding.
English

@royceyoung Royce, you're good man. You don't owe SGA a twitter defense. He's the reigning champ and MVP and favored to do both again. People are gonna hate. It comes with it.
English

There have been 92 seasons a player avg'd 30 ppg. SGA is about to do it a 4th straight time.
His 2025-26 season ranks 65th in free throw attempts per game.
In 2024-25, he ranked 67th.
In 2023-24, he ranked 71st.

Daily Thunder@dailythunder
So tired of SGA being the poster child for foul calls people don't like. The evidence would say that SGA gets fewer of these types of calls than other superstars. Bro just set a record that took 127 (!!) games to achieve, but we're going to talk about 1 foul call?
English

@theliamnissan @avenaim You’re wrong on this one IMO. There is no justification. There is no “what about” context. It’s wrong. That’s it. Period. Full stop. It’s not nuanced. It’s not complicated.
English

@avenaim So giving background information on a terrorist is now considered antisemitism. Got it, numbnuts

@GregAnthony50 BC it was disgusting Greg; that's why. It's got nothing to do with Bam. It has to do with the point of the accomplishment and playing the game correctly. The Miami Heat made a complete mockery of the game in the final minutes and it absolutely sours his achievement.
English

I misspoke on Kobe’s circumstance, I stand corrected. My issue is why are folks 💩 Bam, there’s a reason only 3 guys have scored 80. Instead of comparing them just appreciate it. #NBA
English

@ryenarussillo i mean if you're into mockeries, then ya, this all checks out as you've described it as it was- a mockery of both the game and the chase of the modern record.
English

Loved every minute of Bam’s 83. The absurd possessions. The home broadcast raving about his unselfishness when he made a pass. Spo’s ridiculous challenge. Fouling up 20+ to stop the clock. The bombs from 3. Washington fouling a different player so Bam wouldn’t get the shot. The missed FTA to try for another possession.
Can’t get mad at Miami when the other team is hoping to lose.
English

@ImJanPerez i could not agree more. credit to Bam for the first gazillion points, but the last two-four minutes of that game was spitting on competitive basketball and statistical history. really cheapened the night.
English

Kobe Bryant outscored the 1st seed Mavericks 62 to 61, in 3 quarters about 20 years ago. Phil Jackson asked Kobe if he wanted to stay in and chase history. Kobe said No. Phil took him out after 3 quarters. Kobe got 81 3 weeks later when they actually needed it to win the game.
Imagine Kobe staying in the game vs. the Mavs for the 4th quarter, being up 20+, and his teammates intentionally fouling the mavs so the Lakers could get the ball back, to force feed Kobe shots.
😂 nah. That was disgusting.
