@eaitken1983 I really thought we would have got some kind of bounce from a new manager but there's just nothing. Losing Karlsson, Aouchiche and Clarkson has really shown up how little creativity we now have.

@Corran9John @The_Tman10 Wales getting to Euro 2016 semi finals and the Republic of Ireland getting to the Quarter Finals of Italia 1990 should put us to shame. We always seem to be simply happy just to qualify for a major tournament.

Back to the real fitbaw at the weekend thankfully as i have little interest in watching Scotland in friendlies tbh. Those two games have zero bearing on the World Cup. @Dunkm97 @BlairKaylor This is my bugbear from the 2 games. What was the point of flying Lennon Miller over from Italy to have him as an unused substitute for both games? Surely giving him some game time would have been more beneficial especially if we get injuries in the midfield area before June

@BlairKaylor Think people are more annoyed that this break wasn’t used to try some new inform players. If any of the core get injured we might have to throw people that are unfamiliar with the international set up straight into a World Cup environment

@NoScotNoParty Yeah. We qualified! Despite or because of our manager? We’ll never know, but we all have our opinions. Basically I think we could be fielding better players as the manager has too many favourites who are played too often & for too long. He doesn’t do succession planning.

@HitTheByline Not giving Lennon Miller any game time this week after he flew over from Italy was shitty behaviour from Clarke. If God forbid McTominay, Gilmour and Ferguson were all to be crocked in the next few weeks then not giving Miller game time could be a daft decision

This is the one thing that annoys me about Clarke. Friendlies are about experiments and testing new players and ideas. We all know what Kenny McLean can offer the team. We haven’t seen enough from Lennon Miller, so why not give him the chance for the last 20 minutes?

Really enjoyed Clarke experimenting with the squad giving the likes of Miller, Curtis & Irving a combined total of 10 minutes over 180, really good to see...🙄

Stephen Robinson teams are direct, physical and will run through brick walls for him. The complete opposite of this Aberdeen team, very hard to install that mid season especially with half arsed players. They are in big bother, St Mirren and Hibs away next

@scotball_ That strikeforce is dire. As for Ralston and Hanley getting included that is utterly laughable. Ralston is 3rd choice at his club and isn't it about 6 weeks since Hanley played for Hibs? Ridiculous that Hearts and Motherwell dont have players in the squad.

Few baffling selections here for me. Tony Ralston has barely had a look in for Celtic under Martin O’Neill, George Hirst is no longer a guaranteed starter for Ipswich. Happy to see Findlay Curtis given a call-up but we still look desperately short of options out wide.

@HitTheByline I think this will really hurt AFC in the pocket. The number of fans who won't renew their AberDNA which the club said would be used to fund youth development will be pretty high this summer.

I don’t know what is going on at Aberdeen, but this sort of dealings with youth players doesn’t look good from a neutral. Both Alfie Stewart and Bavidge have been brilliant for Inverness on loan this season. Their reward for their performances? Being told they aren’t getting a chance. 🤯 I said it before when it was revealed Bavidge was leaving, this sets a terrible precedent for youth players in the future.

@dons_report I think we'll be okay. Having St Mirren, Killie and Dundee United at Pittodrie after the split could be key. The match at Paisley on April 4th is a biggie. Frustrating that after a gutsy point today we end up closer to the play-off than we started the day.

Really fear 11th place has our name written all over it. That Kilmarnock side will pick up plenty wins at home, fancy St Mirren’s chances of taking something tomorrow as well. Make no mistake we’re in a fight now.
