Jurgen Klopp handled the situation well last night after the game. Most football fans will have had empathy with what happened and recognised it was wrong!
However Liverpools statement tonight is a mistake! Talk of exploring all options ( what does that mean!!! ) and sporting integrity are dangerous phrases along with being vague and aggressive.
Sorry we f@@@@d up was enough!! I said this last night. Sorry should be respected and not undervalued.
This is a snap reaction that can always be wrong but I feel strongly about it.
@Watch_LFC 14 Spurs players against 9 Liverpool players discussing @GNev2 got it right by stating the referee has ruined this game. But nothing will happen and more games will be ruined.
To summarise:
1) Curtis Jones sent off for a harsh red card. Still image makes it look worse.
2) Minutes later Liverpool take the lead but it’s wrongly disallowed for offside. VAR quickly rules it out, doesn’t use lines to check.
3) Salah flagged for a foul on Bissouma for basically nothing. If the ref doesn’t blow Salah is in the box and could create a big goal scoring opportunity.
4) Spurs get a corner when the ball clearly comes off Kulusevski.
5) Jota booked because Udogie trips himself. He then (stupidly) makes a rash challenge which gets him a second yellow.
6) Before Jota’s second yellow Udogie asks the ref to give Jota a second yellow for a minor foul. He doesn’t get booked even though asking for a yellow is now a bookable offence.
7) Robertson and Peter Krawietz booked for complaining about a foul on Robertson.
8) Bissouma gets a yellow for putting a hand in Wataru’s face. A hand in the face should be a red card.
9) In general, Simon Hooper made a number of decisions which went against Liverpool’s flow in the game. Not being given advantage when we should have, pulling up players for fouls which were incredibly soft.
Remember how we were all screaming at Klopp to sign Mane, Wijnaldum, Gakpo, Jota, Robbo, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Fabinho etc
No I don't either
I do remember shouts to sign Sancho, Pepe, Pulisic etc
Almost like he knows what he's doing and everyone needs to chill?

@Mark5Wright it was great to meet you today. A question I thought of on the way home back to Norfolk. Your thoughts on Virgil and who’s would be his best Liverpool partnership, but if we was to go in the market who would be the perfect choice 🤔
@ESPNUK@GNev2 I thought I was reading another post from @piersmorgan Awesome player that needs a awesome club, unfortunately he can’t fit anyone else up his arse @piersmorgan is already imbedded. Get over being blanked…..👍🏻
@piersmorgan@TSBreakfast 💤 @piersmorgan Does your ass ever get jealous of the crap that comes out of your mouth? get your head out of Ronaldo’s arse. Maybe if Messi gives you a complement you could give us a break. There's a tree creating the oxygen you're wasting. Go find it in the woods and apologize
@piersmorgan You really need to get your head out of his arse….. amazing player but unfortunately he’s snatched at everything in the last 4 months. Would you have him at Arsenal to the end of the season.
Morocco deservedly take the lead. They’ve been the stronger team so far. Wonder how long Portugal will leave the greatest footballer in history on the bench?
@JohnBishop100 Totally agree. I will support the players and managers but It’s not right and it seems that the people who are saying get behind it, are the ones who are getting financially rewarded and the people who it doesn’t effect. #Standbyyourconvictions
Why is football ran by idiots ? I can't bring myself to watch this world cup. It is the most blatant example of corruption in sport we have ever seen and action on the pitch can not detract from that reality. FIFA is not fit for purpose and hasn't been for years.
