Yesterday I got to see first hand the importance of @TigerWoods to the game of golf... an empty range @TheOpen in pouring rain, one man alone practicing on a Wednesday afternoon and just a "few" fans watching... incredible really. Absolute privilege to witness.

@Fit_For_Golf @B15879878B Quad doesn't measure the carry distance though. What it will do, is directly measure the spin and launch. On the other side of this, the other device can not measure spin axis correctly. One will go further and one will go in the wrong direction... neither are perfect.

@CazParker1871 I think you make a really good point. Too many fans are caught up on our history instead of understanding the present. We are a L1 club because of terrible ownership and poor management. Having PL facilities and Cat 1 academy in L1 is like owning a chocolate teapot at this point!

Last post before I switch off in 2026 for a bit, but this course of action was inevitable, I'm afraid. I'm prepared to take pelters for this opinion, but different owners would have arrived at these conclusions too. Regrettable that these tough but necessary decisions weren't taken earlier on and explained to fans, as it was fairly obvious something would have to happen. People can lose their shit over it all they like, but the current model isn't sustainable. Would I accept selling off some of BW land or downgrading the academy so we had a team capable of getting back to the Champ & staying there? Absolutely yes. Without hesitation. We've all become emotionally attached to Cat 1 / Bearwood because in recent years, it's the only source of pride I think. Having Bearwood has made this club a financial basket case, and no one wants to admit it. #ReadingFC

@Jamie_Hodder21 I don't know who the right man is and I don't think we can afford to go after a current manager so will be from the unemployed so it's the best available of those. I think the players just need a fresh set of ideas but again sometimes that takes time and we are running low!

@stuartarchibald Yeah he got it really wrong and should have put it right asap. Not letting his co owner/partner tweet “patience” over and over. Right decision removing Hunt. But after the transfer window do you trust him to get the right man in?

So so funny seeing the fans who were giving Couhig ALL the deadlines under the sun in the summer now say X, Y Z. Poor transfer window. Poor summer in total and we are seeing it now. This is on Couhig. He didn’t give us the squad we needed. Will he make the change? #ReadingFC

@Jamie_Hodder21 I'm not saying Rob and the team didn't get a little excited and even underestimate the task themselves, but he is being hung out to dry at times. Yesterday was a hard but right decision for the club, so let's see what another manager can do and re evaluate the squad in January.

@stuartarchibald Everyone is accepting of time. If anything this was the season where time was actually a given. But we were over promised and that set the targets for fans expectations. Let’s not pretend this is a really tough league to get out of… it’s competitive. But not exactly hard.

@Jamie_Hodder21 We lost numerous key players who we were lucky to have in L1. Now with a rebuilt squad, it just takes time which nobody is accepting of. I am not enjoying where we are but equally understand why we are where we are... just have to look at Wigan and Bolton to see how hard it is!

@Reading106 @CScott____ @T123Adcock @alisterrfc1 Yeah they have set expectations, but tied some key players into new deals, bought in a key player, all before July 1st when contracts traditionally expire and the transfer market becomes more wide open. The PL, Club World Cup etc has created false narrative for alot of fans.

Adam Scott is 44 years old and playing in his 96th consecutive major, but he’s still sending it out with 187mph ball speed and is the only player to not shoot over par so far in the brutal US Open set up at Oakmont. What a story if he were to win today 🇦🇺

Everyone on Tour is astounded that Adam Scott seems to gain 1-2 mph of ball speed every year as he moves deep into his 40s. A legendary figure in our sport who deserves a second major championship. What a massive day.
