The continued verbal and physical harassment of Muslim families and members of the Toronto Islamic Centre is unacceptable. Reports of families going to and from prayer, having to use a buddy system in response to targeted attacks, should be deeply troubling for all of us.

He casts himself as a ringleader for middle powers, instead, objectively, he’s flip flopping his way through a major crisis. Our allies acted, then Carney’s Liberals begged to be read in after the fact.
It’s like he has no idea what he’s doing. Four positions in the first four days, and no idea if this position would hold for the next four days.
Our allies act on their shared interests. So too should Canada.

Suspect Shot In Vaughan Home Invasion Has Over 45 Charges, Since 2020 A male suspect is facing charges after being wounded during an attempted armed home invasion in Vaughan early Tuesday morning. According to York Regional Police, officers were called to a residence near Carrville Woods Circle and Crimson Forest Drive at approximately 12:50 a.m. on March 17, 2026, following reports of a shooting. Investigators say multiple suspects, at least one of whom was armed with a firearm, forcibly entered the home. During the incident, an occupant retrieved a legally owned and properly stored firearm and fired at the intruders, prompting them to flee the scene. Police said the suspects were last seen leaving the area in a black pickup truck before officers arrived. No residents inside the home were physically injured. A few hours later, authorities were notified that a man suffering from a gunshot wound had been dropped off at a hospital in the Toronto area. Investigators later determined the individual had been injured during the Vaughan home invasion and was transported to hospital shortly afterward. Police have since laid charges against the injured suspect, Trestin Cassanova-Alman, 24 of no fixed address Cassanova-Alman Criminal History July 2020 -Charged with possession of fentanyl, cocaine and crystal meth for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime October 2020 -17 charges for Five violent armed robberies and an armed carjacking where an eight-year-old girl was taken with the stolen vehicle. Green Party Leader Elizabeth May told the National Post the last top-secret briefing she received was on foreign interference, back when Justin Trudeau was still prime minister.
NDP Leader Don Davies, said no one in government has offered him any briefings on the situation in the Gulf, but that he would like one “The opposition is completely in the dark.”
Bloc Québécois defence critic, Simon-Pierre Savard-Tremblay, said his party had received no offer for a briefing from the government on the issue. Bloc leader Yves-François Blanchet has his security clearance and could receive the briefing.

Student loan "forgiveness" is the most audacious wealth transfer scam in modern American politics. We're literally forcing plumbers and electricians to subsidize the MBA debts of future consultants and the law school loans of aspiring corporate attorneys.
The same people who spent four years studying gender theory and took out $80k to get a master's in nonprofit management now want the guy who learned a trade at 18 and has been working ever since to pay for their poor life choices. And they have the nerve to call it "progressive policy."
But here's what really gets me — these aren't the broke and desperate. College graduates still out-earn high school graduates by massive margins over their lifetimes. This is just another case of the politically connected middle class using government to pick the pockets of everyone else while claiming moral superiority.
