I built 100mil startups from scratch, then went sailing and surfing around the world for years. Now I’m back and I’ll build my next venture in public.

I just posted this on Meetball. It’s a place where people around you find each other by sharing what they care about. If you know someone who could help, feel free to pass it on. And if you’d like to ask for something that matters to you, you’re welcome to try it too. dev-app.meetball.fun/questions/anyo…

@himeetball isn’t anti-social media. It’s anti-disembodied interaction. The magic moment isn’t the post. It’s the coffee. The walk. The whiteboard. The “oh wow, you too?” That’s what we want to get back to. The human side of socials.

We are in a new era of apps, where language (which reflects values) is more important than least friction mindless user direction (assuming, of course, that all functions are working properly). Cit - @Samvel_Atayan

It's been a while since the last post in X. We went through an amazing journey with @Meetballsocial team. That was sick! Booth at @unicornfactoryl at @WebSummit, lots of cool connections. @scrutautomation party was fun way to meet great people from Denver, US. I can continue this list... But the most important thing is that @Meetballsocial is live! We have the product, we have a team, we have users. What meetball does? Simple, but very important thing. Connect people with purpose. If you are a solo founder who wants to find people who are ready to help you, you definitely should check it out! ...and in the meantime, we begin to explore new horizons while the dust has not yet settled

superversive (adj.) — Said of a person: one who seeks to uplift, ennoble, and inspire others, affirming meaning, beauty, and virtue rather than undermining them. Let that be you.

Hey @samhenrigold working on a project so crazy we had Netflix producers interested in making a movie out of the story. It’s a simple app to help people make meaningful connections. An anti social media social network, built as an open startup that anyone can join. we need some help. Take a look at this so you get a sense of the project and if you’re interested, let’s chat: youtu.be/ZHfyFYjkOlU

Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge? It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

The purest reason to make something is not to make money and not even to make the thing. It’s to have the experience of making the thing - and no one can take that from you.

the founder's mindset’s all aboot smashin’ short an’ long-term goals, knowing fine well the glory’s theirs an’ the team’s. It’s a shared triumph, but deep down, the founder couldn’t care less for the spotlight. Just the outcome!

Never mind this doesn't work well in the rain, in the winter, or for anyone who have better things to do than travel back in time to an era before modern appliances reduced the needless toil of housework.

Love this common Euro-cope: Just hang your clothes outside!! Learn to love the wire and clippers! It's almost as good as excusing the lack of AC with "you could just open a window and sleep naked without a blanket". Like our pre-civilization forefathers!

Europeans have no idea how ridiculous their washing'n'drying situation is. Totally cooked by eco-insanity. We just got a TOP-OF-THE-LINE Miele heat-pump setup, and it's still fucking 6:20 hours to do a single wash + dry!! Would take 1.5 hours in the US on our gas/vented setup.

I’m building a startup where anyone can join, bunch of devs butting heads figuring out best way to set up collab. What’s your advice for a “how we work” framework we can copy paste? Stack agnostic, more the collab and rituals to build great apps. Is there a “how we work” For bitchat, how ideas become amazing products? Would love that

@aakashgupta Even better a ratio of impact to the resources they have at disposal. That index is the best measure if you really want to measure something

Bezos: “Somebody needs to make a list where they rank people by how much wealth they’ve created for other people — instead of the Forbes list where it ranks you by your own wealth. Amazon’s market cap is $2.3 trillion today. I own about $200 billion-ish of it. So if you take $2.3 trillion and subtract out the piece I kept for myself, then I’ve created something like $2.1 trillion of wealth for other people. That should put me pretty high on some kind of list. And that’s a better list — how much wealth have you created for other people?”

@callebtc Can I use the bitchat protocol for another app I’m building? Anyone want to help me with this part of the project? It’s an app to connect people who need help with those around them who can help.
