David Bowie Polaroid, From the Tonight Album Cover Sessions Art director Mick Haggerty began by photographing Bowie in his suite at the Carlyle Hotel in NYC, taking Polaroids Using one of these as a reference, he drew the portrait of Bowie used on the Tonight album cover.

@stuey2020 Same, after reading about for some time, though in my case I went looking overseas for it and Second. Do you know Thelma Houston’s Sunflower album? It feels like a companion piece to SE to me. Meanwhile I have a handful of mid to late 60s Babs albums on their way to me now. 🙏

@BernardZuel i inherited a handful of early Steisand's 30 years ago, and at the time, tho I always love her voice, they just werent music that I would play to relax. Finding SE in an op shop - from beginning to end it was instant love. : )
