I don't post seriously on here very often, I like to keep it lighthearted, but I feel now is a good time for a personal story. When I was in the 9th grade, I was a societal outcast because of who and what I am. Being a closeted trans kid in the south, I had virtually no friends.

@smintyd I have very high cheek bones and got teased for it by other girls as young as 7 years old! I vividly remember finding out everyone was sucking in their cheeks behind my back to make fun of me. I realized in high school that they were jealous.

Pls stop saying I look ugly and dead because of my hollow cheeks, they’re literally just part of my genetic structure I’ve never had my cheeks cosmetically enhanced and the comments dragging me for it are taking me right back to being bullied for my weight in school :)

Late last night, at least five people were killed and more were injured at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs. Our hearts are with the victims, the survivors, their loved ones, the LGBTQ community, and all those who are sad and afraid today.
