Bayern Munich's Uli Hoeneß on Harry Kane's worth in today's market: "It was a bit of a risk [spending around €100m on him in 2023]. But he's played incredibly well for us in recent years. If we consider the price-performance ratio, I'd say 150 million. But then you see that Alexander Isak of Liverpool cost 150 million euros. Its so depressing watching Liverpool isn't it. Slot has absolutely ruined this team. If 1 or 2 players were underperforming then fair enough. But virtually everyone has had a drop-off since last season. That is down to poor coaching & management. He has to go. #LFC

Luke Chambers returned from injury on Wednesday which will put a number of clubs on red alert for the January window - perhaps towards the end as he builds fitness.
Great pick up for a number of clubs, tactically versatile, a standout for Wigan before injury. Almost underrated.

He was always a pretty good talent without ever being considered elite but always capably of a moment of quality. I liked his dribbling, it was very fluid and felt as though it was one continuous movement rather than a number of small touches. He slaloms, and that makes him a little versatile in being able to play as nine and winger. Latter academy LFC years was converted in to a nine and hit a little purple patch; knows where the goal is. As you can imagine, didn’t see him in Serbia.
