Speaking of putting something in the water. Big water troughs get algea and bugs in the water, the heat and sun causes this. It's not a thing during the winter, at least not here in New England. Some people put fish in the troughs to cope with this issue. We don't do it at the farm, I'm pretty sure Samoa would eat one, she's eaten my roast beef sammich before.
